Erie Humboldt Park Health Center

I gave 1 star just so I could post this review. I just called to speak with a nurse an hour ago because my kids are sick. The nurse who took my call whose name is «Maryanne» was SO rude! Like if the fact that my kids being sick and Im unsure of what to do isn’t frustrating enough, now I talked to this nurse, who basically made the frustration 10 times worse cause i’m still stuck at square one. She was extremely condescending and rude throughout our entire conversation. She refused to give me her last name, refused to transfer me to a supervisor, stating that she is the only person there to speak with because its after hours and everyone’s left for the day. And now im sitting here like a dick still wondering if this is something serious or somthing relevant to the bug they got. So annoying!!! Im calling to make a formal complaint against her tomorrow morning once their office opens again. This is not the first time I have dealt with a rude Nurse/​Doctor at the clinic, but I will say it’s the last! Cant believe i gave this office another shot after the first time they got unprofessional with me. There are many other clinics in the humboldt park area u can go to… this one is not worth the time, money, or frustration.

The front staff is way too slow and they don’t seem to know what they’re doing. They always mess up on dates or appointments & seriously look lost and confused ALL THE TIME.
I once got hung up on by a phone rep when I asked sternly, «Can you please give me a sec.» Because she kept so rudely sighing dramatically while I had asked her before to give me a second and let me see see my calendar.
I wish I could have caught her name, but I could barely understand her with her shitty attitude. I had a billing issue and only the billing department’s manager could help me get this little issue resolved.
Friendly nurses & Dr. That is prob the only reason I am still there. Their pharmacy is fast! Front staff needs more training and to learn to smile once in a while.

Seriously terrible service. Incompetent staff. Every time I call to make an appointment I am not informed correctly and each time it’s an obstacle, «oh sorry they didn’t tell you that you need…» Been trying to make an appointment for a month — and I haven’t even made it to the nurses yet, this is just the office staff. Won’t be surprised if this place closes.

Terrible service. I have literally been calling for 3 weeks and waiting on the line for up to 45 minutes with no answer. I am not exaggerating. I recently discovered I was pregnant. I was told to make an appointment for my ultrasound with Joyce to see how far along I am. She scheduled me and I did not have my work schedule on me so I was told to call her when I got home to make sure the appointment would work. I was told if she was busy just to leave a message and she would call me right back. I called and left a message saying I didn’t think I could make the appointment. Left my number twice on that very voicemail. She didn’t call back at all. Called back multiple times. Left another message a few days later asking her to return my call. Still nothing. I finally begged my boss to come in late that day so I could keep the appointment since she never responded and he agreed. I called her back AGAIN. PROBABLY THE TENTH TIME… to her direct number (which is where I was told to contact her.) Left a message saying since she never responded to me or the messages that I would keep the appointment I had with her. Mind you I tried calling the main center numerous times but that’s where I was never answered with no voicemail service. She finally calls me back 2 weeks from my initial call to tell me she canceled the appointment and I would have to reschedule. This is terrible service and not the first of my appointments to have been canceled. I used to go to the teen center and was never treated poorly there. They were very good with scheduling and helping with any and everything. The service at the Humboldt location is poor. I would not recommend any one to go here for pregnancy needs as it should be an exciting, and not stressful, time in your life. I found a new doctor an vs will never be returning to Erie.

Since my positive pregnancy test I was so excited and wanted to get an appointment ASAP but all the clinics I called had long waiting time and like 100 questions on the phone about my insurance etc. it would take like 2 – 4 weeks for a pregnant women. I was so annoyed because I’m from Germany and it’s so much easier and faster there.
Then I called Erie family center and it was a relief. People didn’t question me and gave me an appointment in 2 days because I am PREGNANT and need vitamins tests etc. soooo important the first weeks of pregnancy. They took a great care of me during my pregnancy. Dr. Barajas is fantastic! All doctors are very nice !!!
Now my son was born and we also are going there! They have little long waiting room time but it’s worth it!!!

So. I am really excited because Unilocal has made me a Duchess
of Erie Family Health Center. Boy do I like this!
And yes. I am a «regular» at Erie. I knew how phenominal this
place and it’s staff was from the get –go but now I am getting to know
some of these great people on a personal level as well.
Starting with Jacqueline at the front desk. to Yesinia, and my
Dr. Stoltenberg is away for the holidays but. I got to see Dr. Franco.:)
Who gave up alot of his Saturday time ro sit and discuss with me
all the things that needed discussing.:)
I will be back here on Wednesday and I never thought I would
be so happy about going to the Doctors.
But. this place. and these people go above and beyond
for their patients and I am so grateful.:)
So.once again to Erie Family Health in Humboldt Park.

P. S.Even though I received this Dukedom for a
Doctor’s Office oposed to a restaurant or bar I’m still happy.:)

a new parent. 1^st child. they tell u nothing.
It shouldnt take 2 weeks to get an appointment.
they constantly dont listen, and make your appointments with other doctors.
to see your doctor is an hour and a half wait

My son has the flu. It took me 2 days to get an appointment for him to be seen. And they tell me hes got a cold… no shit really?
The People who you make apppointments with dont do their jobs EVER! November i went for his 2 month appointment, and he should be seen every month once a month. The girls at the desk say «call in December for an appointment in december» So, its DECEMBER i call and they tell me they have NO appointments for december. ON DECEMBER 4TH THEY HAVE NO APPOINTMENTS FOR DECEMBER VISIT?! and tell me i have to wait till January. IN JANUARY HE WONT BE 3 MONTHS ANYMORE YOU DUMBASS!!?
