Everywhere Wireless

I have been using EverywhereWireless for nearly two months now and could not be happier. So far, I’ve experienced no dropouts or service issues — it’s been pretty rock-​solid. And the customer service is outstanding — very similar to what business/​enterprise customers get from «professional class» ISPs (think FirstComm, Windstream, etc.) but much, much better. Very quick response times for issues/​inquiries. My emails are usually responded to within an hour (real human responses, not just automated «we’ve received your request, blah blah» responses), and every time I’ve called customer service, I’ve been connected with a real person (who knows what they’re talking about and can actually answer my questions/​provide useful info) in less than 5 minutes.
I’m an IT consultant/​MSP by day, and I deal with many different ISPs in my work. I can honestly say that EW’s customer service outshines that of most any provider I’ve dealt with — professionally or personally. If EW is offered in your building, I would very highly recommend you use them for your internet service.

Couldn’t be happier with the switch. After Comcast tried to increase my rate for the 2^nd time in one year, I had had enough. A quick google search led me to Everywhere Wireless, and I am so glad that I found them. Every interaction with their customer service team has been positive, and never once did I have the feeling that someone was trying to take advantage of me like I have felt in the past.
So far, I have yet to need to reset the router and the speed is great! Their customer service team even contact me a couple of weeks in «to see how things were going». Not only did I get a lower rate (that won’t randomly increase without notification) but I no longer dread having to call with questions.

These are fantastic – they responded so quickly to my email that I managing the entirety of my conversation while being on hold with Comcast on the other line. Brian was great. This company has been a actually fun to deal with.

Excellent service and price. Codd did a great job checking my computer online and helping me to improve speed with system upgrades and router suggestions. Highly recommend.

At first, I didn’t know what to make of it after finding out my building was getting Everywhere Wireless and after reaching out to those who have the Internet service, I was told so many good things about it so I signed up immediately.
First of all, when you email or call Everywhere Wireless, someone emails you right back or answers the phone immediately. That in itself is amazing!
After signing up, I received a call in a couple of days to schedule the installation. They worked with my schedule as I could only do it outside of work hours. I emailed the day of my installation (yesterday) to get a tighter time block than two hours and someone emailed me right back and then called. They even asked if they could come earlier! Wow! While that didn’t work with my work schedule, I was impressed.
Israel and Marco were the ones who came to my unit yesterday to do the install. Israel called me at 4:45 p.m. saying he was ready and my installation wasn’t scheduled until 5 p.m. I was super impressed and told him I would be there at 5 as I was coming from work. When I got to my unit, they both were waiting.
They were so friendly! They were professional, polite, and so easy to work with. Israel looked around to see where I wanted my router placed and recommended it by my TV. I did as he said as it made the most sense. Israel was very efficient and asked me to write the info down for my passwords, etc… while they worked. Israel was very fast and both really cared about what they were doing and cared that I was pleased. I’m not a tech person but I have three networks, including a guest network and a 5G and the 5G is very fast! I got the 25mbpsn package. I haven’t tried the Guest Network but so far, everything seems so good.
I got a call this morning to ask how it went last night. Man, as if they couldn’t get any better. I am very pleased with the service and the speed so far. I know this company will grow so I hope they keep the same level of customer service as they get bigger and I also ask they keep the same prices. I’m paying $ 25/​month for the speed I had before with a bigger company but to me, it seems faster. I’m a big fan so far. I would highly recommend this service to another condo unit owner. I can’t speak as to service in a home.

They say you don’t know you’re in an abusive relationship until you get out of it.
Your friends tell you, but you don’t listen. You rationalize it, since it’s always been that way. The pain dulls after time, and eventually you become numb. It works well enough. It’s the status quo.
But then… you start noticing hints. A dull nagging pain from your subconscious. You find out that not everyone has to wait for their Netflix streams to buffer. Your Call of Duty opponents might be better than you not only because they’re in Korea.
Your friends start tell you tales of when they are able to find the tech support number in under 3 hours, and are greeted with a person. Crazy stories of how folks who actually work for the company show up and install and work on your service. You write them off as drunk when they tell you that’s happening here in Chicago.
You’re smarter than that. You aren’t susceptible to that abuse.
Denial is a helluva drug.
Then one day it hits you. A hand, reaching from heaven. In the form of a flyer under the door that you almost threw away because it was under the Chinese food menu from next door.
Everywhere Wireless is coming to your building.
You start asking questions. Is everything I know wrong? Is there something else out there? The internet has gotten faster than 10mbps at 3am and 5mbps in the evenings at best? You can stream HD now? I can sync my dropbox in less than 2 weeks?
The fog starts to clear. You start looking around. It’s tough initially. You experience a breakdown. Everything you knew as fact is wrong. You go to therapy. Your counselor tells you it’s OK. You have to accept and learn from your mistakes, not suffer from them.
You make the leap. There’s no pain anymore anyway, why not? You let your contract expire on your DSL. You suffer for days with no internet, fueled only by the faith that on your installation appointment that you will be exonerated of your ISP transgressions, your complacency, your sin of sloth.
*CLICK*.
The technician plugs in the jack and unceremoniously casts the DSL modem aside like a used potato chip bag. You feel a weight lifted from your shoulders. The speed test gauge slowly marches and then suddenly slams into the red at over 100mbps.
A tidal wave of peace floods over your entire soul. You are reconnected with the digital world.
One, at least.
That abusive partner was AT&T. I no longer harbor ill will towards them, but it is now my mission, my passion, and my crusade to save others from the clutches of complacency. Reach out to your lord and savior, Everywhere Wireless!
Epilogue for the tech-​minded:
Everywhere Wireless is able to do this by installing what the industry calls wireless backhaul. Using advanced highly-​directed 60ghz radio beams, they are able to completely skip the City of Chicago monopolies and dirty politics on utility pole access and fiber access and simply beam an ultra-​high-​speed connection directly to your building. Yes, it’s snow and rain-​proof. They then run ethernet directly to your unit and from there you just use your devices and netflix as usual. Brilliant!

After being stuck with very few ISP options (RCN if cable, ATT if DSL — yuck), when Everywhere Wireless came by and offered to hook us up, we jumped to the opportunity. I’m getting faster speeds at lower prices than what I had before! Everyone has been super helpful, fast and efficient! Shout out to Israel, the tech that came to do the install for my personal unit, he was very knowledgeable and installed any cables needed very cleanly. Also, I experienced a small, non-​urgent issue on a Friday night and opened a support ticket and someone called me Saturday morning! Saturday! It was a bit of a technical issue so it had to be handed over to a higher tech, to which I was then discussing with Joe Wilcox whom carefully listened to my peculiar issue and stayed with me on the phone for over 30 minutes while we diagnosed and soon fixed the problem while he accessed my computer remotely.
Gotta hand it to these guys, never have I seen such dedication to customer service from an ISP! Thanks!

Really impressed. Installation was right on time and the tech was knowledgeable and really friendly. Service itself so far has been spot on… 4 days in I’m consistently getting MORE than the ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ I pay for by a few clicks. Strongly recommend!

If you are upset by Xfinity but you have no choice, you can blame Xfinity.
If your building has Everywhere Wireless but you haven’t shift to it, it is on you.
Xfinity is slow and super expensive. The worst cable and internet I have ever used.
Everywhere Wireless is your ultimate alternative. It is faster and cheaper, with much better service.

Everywhere Wireless is a great internet provider. After years of dealing with AT&T, we realized that we were likely paying too much for average service. We switched to Everywhere Wireless and it is half the price and way more reliable.
After calling AT&T telling them we wanted to cancel, they basically begged us to stay on as customers and offered to slash our bill in half. It’s a shame that you have to essentially hold big corporations like AT&T hostage before they give you the right price.
Signing up for Everywhere Wireless was so simple that I literally thought I had missed a step. The options are great, cheap, and the technicians are reliable.
I’d recommend that anyone who is considering switching going ahead and do it and support this local business.

EW was so professional and they were quick to help with installation and any service problems I had. There was a little internal issue with my service, but not 5 mins after calling and speaking with a technician, my service was running at speeds faster than advertised. Not only are they cost effective compared to the big internet suppliers, but when you call their tech support line, a HUMAN actually answers!!! What a crazy idea? lol
But in all seriousness, the internet speeds are fast, they have technicians and customer support ready to field any questions, and there aren’t any hidden fees in their bills. I couldn’t be happier being a customer of EW.

If EW offers service in your building, GET IT. I’m paying half of what I used to with Comcast. And, I’m getting a faster connection.
Installers showed up early. They finished in a bit over half hour.

EW has been great start to finish. Israel showed up on time and finished my installation quickly. Joe has been quick to respond and is very knowledgeable when it comes to troubleshooting user issues. (at times my ID10T errors)
My connection has been fantastic — 200mbps vs 90mbps at Comcast (at a lower annual cost too!) Uptime is as promised but EW’s customer service is what will be keeping me around! Their entire team is a rare prime example of excellent customer service in an industry that is sorely lacking any. Great attitude, professional, and skilled at their jobs — all accessible without jumping through phone tree hoops to reach an actual live person.
I’m happy to have left Comcast and am not looking back!

I recently worked with their team to onboard my building, and I can definitely say this is the best wireless company I’ve ever had contact with.
From the get-​go, they were super responsive and extremely friendly. I worked with their team for the entire duration of on-​boarding my building to use their services. They were in control the entire time, dealt with the board and management of my building, and kept me in the loop with approximate installation timeframes throughout the process. My building had a lot of bureaucratic stopping points for introducing new providers, and they jumped through every single hoop quite astoundingly. I was thoroughly impressed.
Then, after finally getting my building wired and set-​up, they were very prompt to set-​up my individual unit. Their technician was very punctual and extremely friendly. He converted my phone jack within 10 minutes and got my apartment running on their promised speeds. Definitely one of the easiest installations I’ve had as well. They have no modems, so you connect your router directly to their ethernet port. That was very convenient and eliminates much of the clutter with all the cords and wireless equipment. Just my one airport router and an ethernet cable.
Their speeds are as advertised, not lower like most providers, and their costs are unbelievable. You cannot get better wifi for your dollar than with EW. Plus, they have the best customer service and team I’ve ever interacted with. By far a phenomenal company! I will be ensuring that every building I ever live in here in Chicago uses EW.

I switched over to Everywhere Wireless a little over two months ago and couldn’t be happier. We are consistently getting the 50Mbps down that is advertised and haven’t had any outages. Compare that with Comcast which we suffered with for years and I see no reason not to switch to Everywhere Wireless if it is available to you, especially if you are considering cutting the cord.
The service as well has been top notch — friendly, efficient, and helpful. They legitimately seem happy to help and grateful for their customer base. Again, compare with Comcast reps who seem to resent their own customers and Everywhere Wireless emerges as the clear victor in every facet of the cable game. I’m hoping they can continue to expand and provide quality internet service to the many Chicagoans whose only current option is Comcast.

I recently switched from AT&T U-​Verse to Everywhere Wireless, and I can’t be more pleased! I switched because I had been experiencing horrible speeds (about 0.25−0.5 mbps) with U-​Verse, and their technical service wasn’t the best. It got old taking time off work multiple times for them to come out.
Because EW is new in my building, they offered me a free month of service (woohoo!). The speeds and customer service can’t be beat – seriously.
Where EW shines is in its on-​site installation staff. I wish I remembered one staff member’s name in particular because he was exceptional, but I do remember he said he previously worked at Family Video corporate. AT&T (along with previously providers in my condo building) had a lot of trouble locating our junction box. Previously, internet and cable providers gave up because it was hidden, and we were plagued with low speeds. Even our condo board didn’t know where it’d be because they didn’t have the original floor plans. After a bit of research and time spent, EW was able to locate the hidden junction box behind a wall. They went out of their way, cut a small hole in the wall, went to Home Depot to buy a discreet faceplate and installed it on the wall. Both my landlord and I were shocked they were able to locate it after years of her and her tenants having issues.
Because I now know where the junction box is, our internet has been phenomenal and we’re actually getting the speeds (and more) we’re paying for.

Everywhere Wireless goes above and beyond what I have come to expect from customer service. These guys actually called me to let me know I could make a few easy adjustments to improve my internet speed.
They are fairly priced, extremely helpful and my download/​upload speeds are far better than what I was getting before.
Would highly recommend them to anyone who likes amazing customer service, fast and reliable internet speeds and fair prices.

This is my first comment and I really recommend them! Comcast rises the price frequently, but everywhere doesn’t do that and their price is pretty cost-​effective. I’m so happy for changing it! The people are very professional and installs the device quickly. The speed is steady and high enough. Have no problem so far~~~~~I needn’t consider internet company any more.
PS: lots of people don’t like Comcast haha

I’ve got a condo in Chicago and I had Comcast Internet but also DirecTV so I didn’t need Comcast TV service. Everywhere Wireless started servicing my building so I took advantage of their first free month. They came in and did the install, quickly, and on time, and I was able to use my existing router. To get the full speed you pay for, there are a few tweaks of the router settings you should do, but they are simple and the support staff is great to do it when they install.
Internet service is like phone service or cable service, you want it to work ALL THE TIME with no interruptions. I had that with Comcast and I still have it with Everywhere Wireless. It has worked perfectly for me and is half the cost I was paying for Comcast.

I’ve had their service for around a year and half and I never think about it… and that’s a good thing. Why don’t I think about it? Because I’ve never had a problem. Set-​up was a breeze and they had people answering questions in our building lobby to help those who were technologically challenged.
Great pricing and service, what’s not to like?
Oh, and suck it Comcast.
