History

Established in 2010.

We are located at the corner of Chicago & Western. Part of Farmers Pride Produce. We Only use Boarshead meats and cheeses. We use Fresh local made Bread from Damatos, Labriola &Todays temptations bread. We brew Star Lounge who roast in house. We make fresh made to order egg or (egg white) sandwiches on wheat or croissant. Grade A Jumbo eggs with Boarshead bacon or sausage patties We have limited seating in Café, soon will accomidate customers in out outdoor patio area, as well as have a wide delivery area. Fullerton to Roosevelt and Kedzie to the Lakeshore with a reasonable $ 3 delivery charge that goes directly to the delivery service company. We hope to expand our business to catering as well as convienent walk up window near the Chicago Ave bus stop, right on the corner of Chicago and Western Ave…

I don’t know what sandwich shop takes an hour & thirty minutes to deliver a dammn sandwich. I called the first time the guy on the phone said he just spoke to the driver he is five mins away, forty five minutes later i called again and he said they don’t have delivery guys they get a 3rd party delivery service. So i told him if my food isn’t here in the next ten minutes i would have to call grub hub to cancel my order. The rude PRICK didn’t even apologize or anything he said go ahead and call grub-​hub and hung up on me. Smh what a fool!

Just got breakfast delivered and I’m very happy with this place. The delivery guy got here 20 minutes early, this coffee is delicious, and my lemon-​pepper chicken panini was great. I’ll definitely be ordering from these guys again.

1 star for refunding me the price of coffee.
Delivery was late. The bagel (see photo) was a joke. The driver spilled my coffee (which what was left of it, arrived cold).

Ok, so I had to update… sorry guys, but the last time we ordered, about a week ago — my boyfriend got so sick within 20 minutes of eating his sandwhich, I literally had to take him to the ER for food poisoning… not cool, guys, not cool at all… needless to say I dont think my boyfriend, or myself for that matter, will EVER eat another turkey sandwhich… :(

I ordered delivery from here on a weekday lunch through EAT24. I was excited to find a local place with BoarsHead meat.
I was promised delivery 45 min — hour. Thought that was pretty high considering I lived within a mile, but as they say., good things come to this who wait ;)
After an hour and 15 min, I called to see when it might be delivered. I was rudely told it was on its way — without confirmation of which order I was inquiring about. When I mentioned it was already late, I was asked if I could call back as there were other customers waiting. Really?
I cancelled my order and requested a refund through EAT24, so the one star is based on service (or lack there of).

Great place for a quick sandwich. I’ve had the Italian (amazing!) and the BLT a couple of times and it’s always good and really fresh tasting. High quality meat and bread and you can pick from several different kinds of bread that is also sold in the attached store. They actually have a really large selection of sandwiches for such a small shop and the staff are very friendly. I think this is great value for what you get — the BLT is $ 4.99 and it comes with a drink and chips. Hard to beat.

Had a quick sandwich from here after buying some groceries and it was fresh and excellent. Boars Head branded meat is what they are using for their sandwiches. Nice addition to their store right on the corner. I wish they had the outdoor seating set up to eat outside.

My brother was hesitant to try this place out, but it is walking distance from his office so he went along. The café, sandwich and soup shop is attached to the grocery store. Everything you order is freshly made while you wait. I ordered an Italian Sub and my brother ordered the corn beef sandwich and we were both very happy with out meals and impressed by the friendly service! Next time I go consult at my brothers office will return and try one of their breakfast sandwiches that they

to woo me in, the guy in the store gave me a free coffee ticket. Which i used to walk directly up to the counter and use as an excuse to engage the person behind the counter.
it looks kinds spare in there, but it’s just an efficiently planned space– look on the wall behind you! there is an AMAZING sandwich menu– I LOVE the sandwich! ANd with top quality meant and cheese, on fresh bread, with some coffee from Star Lounge to boot?! And free chips and a pop?!
This pure genius– as if the Farmers Pride people snuck into my deepest fantasy. GO here, spread the word.

Just off the produce market they have opened a café with made to order breakfast egg crossiants (served all day), veggie or Boar’s Head sandwiches, hand scooped ice cream and Star Lounge coffee. They are installing a take out window for easier access. Staff in the café is just as friendly as the staff in the market and prices just as reasonable.
