Established in 2011.

Femme du Coupe focuses on making mixology and cocktails easily accessible at home. Since launching, Femme du Coupe has honed in on a specific set of needs that accommodate both the home bar and what’s readily available to you. Owner Revae Schneider and the Femme du Coupe team have hosted roughly 4,000 attendees, allowing them to experience individualized cocktail classes that are customized to each party’s needs. The team has worked with a diverse clientele including Goldman Sachs, GQ, Style Network, Deloitte, Leo Burnett, and Nickelodeon.

Business Owner

Revae Schneider started with a background in fashion and personal styling but found her place behind the bar at Gilt Bar and eventually Union Sushi + Barbeque after getting laid off in 2008.

Revae founded Femme du Coupe in 2011. Named after the iconic champagne glassware that was styled in the form of Marie Antoinette’s breast. Revae has been featured in such publications as Elle and Cosmo Magazines, The Chicago Tribune, and The Everygirl.

Great experience! We had a small group for a birthday party. It was customized, with full explanations and take home recipes. Informative and fun! We plan to put the Paloma recipe in heavy rotation in our household. Looking forward to contacting Revae for potential girls night out or classy bachelorette party.

I used Revae for my birthday party event. the mixology portion was okay. But she’d suggested a location and food vendor who she had worked with before and that part was a nightmare. We’d indicated that we’d need to reheat the food when we arrived since they couldn’t accommodate the delivery time we’d requested. Despite that info, they delivered the food even earlier than planned so it was completely cold and they did not provide anything in which we could reheat it or even serving utensils. And Revae didn’t seem the slightest bit sympathetic or offer to help us come up with a solution. Thankfully my friends are innovative and extremely helpful so it didn’t completely ruin the night. We made the best of it but I wouldn’t work with Revae again, mostly because of her reaction (or lack thereof) to the situation.

Revae is a great person to mix some tasty cocktails at a party! We wanted to do something special for some clients at work (in the advertising industry) and Revae gave some awesome ideas for a few cocktails to whip up for them at their office. We had to reschedule due to weather and she had no problem rescheduling and making sure she would still make it to mix for our clients. Not only is she professional, punctual, friendly (our clients were a little shy and she was the one who got them to walk up to the bar to start drinking), her drinks were delicious, and overall very pleasant to work with. I would strongly recommend her to mix at any event and hope to work with her again in the future.

We used Revae for a private mixology class as a work event (10 women). She was a pleasure to work with provided us with a great experience!
She met us at the party room of my condo building, and brought all of the necessary supplies to make 3 different cocktails — whiskey, gin and rum-​based. Some of our guests were hesitant to drink whiskey and/​or gin, but Revae turned us all into believers! She also provided us with recipes to keep.
I would highly recommend Revae for a fun girl’s night, work event, bachelorette party, etc!

Femme du Coupe was the highlight of the Bachelorette party that I planned recently. Revae was a pleasure to work with and made it a really fun and special experience for everyone, especially the bride.
She met us at the hotel we were at and brought all the ingredients for all 8 of us to make cocktails. I gave all the girls a rundown of the evenings activities beforehand but somehow most of them didn’t realize we were all going to get to make our own cocktails, not just watch Revae and listen to her tell us about them.
Needless to say, we had a blast. It was such a fun way to get our evening started. I highly suggest eating a good dinner beforehand — the cocktails are no joke!

Revae put on a private mixology class at my apartment as a kickoff to my brother’s bachelor party. It was the perfect start to grease the wheels before a night out.
She brought all the supplies necessary, literally all we needed was a counter to stand at. We made 3 cocktails, two of which were her creations, which, incidentally, were both head and shoulders above the Old Fashioned we made. (There was nothing wrong with the old fashioned… hers were just better.)
We had dinner reservations, so we wrapped up in little over an hour, but we could pretty easily have made this a longer main-​event later in the night and had even more fun.
This is probably costs a little more than you would spend on a course at a bar, but you definitely get what you pay for.
We had a great time, and will probably do it again sometime.

I used Femme du Coupe for a corporate mixology class and it was so much fun! We learned how to mix drinks correctly, the newest trends in ingredients, and drank some delicious cocktails! The drinks were very unique and the recipes are easy to duplicate at home. Revae was fun and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to use Femme du Coupe again for a party with my girlfriends!

We went to her drink mixing class and had a lot of fun and also learned a lot while making 3 drinks during the class. My wife and I have wanted to start making some better drinks at home and the recipes she shared are great for that purpose. Really good drinks that aren’t highly complicated. It was a bit pricey, but all in all it was a good experience.

I hired Femme du Coupe to make specialized cocktails for my wedding. It was the best decision I made related to the wedding! (besides marrying my wife of course). My goal was to get a delcious and potent cocktail presented elegantly into every guests’ hand right away at the reception and to make sure the drinks were readily available for the duration of the party. Revae executed on this flawlessly. I had some ideas on the type of drinks I wanted and Revae used those recommendations while adding in her special recepies and proprietary mixers. Everybody raved about the drinks. A few self proclaimed mixologists at the wedding declared Revae’s old fashion the best one they’ve ever had.
The end result is that everybody at the wedding had a little more fun than they intended to. I highly recommend others hire mixologists for the thier party’s and Femme du Coupe should be their first call.

Femme du Coupe is: personalized, professional, and most of all– a great addition to any in-​home party experience.
Recently hired Femme for a boisterous Bachelorette party hosted at the Ritz Carlton downtown Chicago. Despite Ravae being unavailable that night, the fabulous mixoglogist sent in-​lieu of her was prompt, hilarious, and the drinks were on point. Lisa shook up some of the most delicious craft cocktails I’ve sipped in a while– featuring Femme created juice concentrates. Timing and participation was left up to the desires of the crowd– so we tasted, learned, and then proceeded to place orders for the rest of our 2 hour session.
Lisa held up with the high demand– as the ladies couldn’t get enough of her elixir. Kudos to playing with the confined space & loud crowd; was a weekend highlight!

Revae came to my home to teach a mixology class for my bachelorette party and everyone agreed that it was the highlight of the night! Revae brings all the supplies (including her gorgeous collection of coupe glasses) and sets up stations so each guest gets a hands-​on experience mixing their own cocktails!
For my party she taught us how to make 3 Femme du Coupe signature cocktails-​she gives you a little background, shows you how to make the cocktail, and then you make your own! In between each cocktail you have time to mingle, play a game, eat, or whatever else you can do in the time it takes you to finish your drink. Revae takes care of emptying out shakers, setting up the next ingredients, and answering any questions you might have. No worries and so much fun! By the end of the night we were all feeling pretty confident in our cocktail shaking skills! Trust me when I say that Revae is the perfect addition to your next event or party!

Revae created and served custom cocktails at a wedding I planned (I’m the planner – not the bride!) in June and it was fabulous. The cocktails were delicious and it was a fun novelty for the guests to see a professional mixologist at the event. I enjoyed wokring with Femme du Coupe so much that I hired Revae to teach a cocktail-​making class at a bachelorette party I planned for my friend. It was a blast to be on the other side of things, enjoying the cocktails. It was a great time and a really fun and different thing to do for a bachelorette :) Brava, Revae!
