Working in real estate, I have made many copies of keys. Fink is the only place that I have never received a failed copy. The big box stores have had a high fail rate with me. Other locksmiths have been great, but I have still gotten a few failures. Fink has never failed me in over 30 tries. I only wish they were located closer to my home.
They also provided me with some great advice on improving the security on my home as well. At first, they gave me a very simple answer; however, when it was clear I was looking for more specific details, they were more than capable of reciting the details from memory.
This IS the neighborhood shop everyone wishes to have.

This is an old school business. It looks like nothing has changed but the product in the past 30 years. But the people are very knowledgable, and they have their safes on hand so you don’t just have to visualize what they will be (some things aren’t meant to be online shopped). You can poke, kick, try to lift and play with the safes. You can see how much room you will have and actually need. Their prices are probably not the cheapest, but again, you get to see and feel what you are getting. And if you want they will even deliver and install them for you (at an added cost of course).
If I finally do decide to get a safe, i’ll most likely buy it here.

The guys at Fink Safe and Lock, 2307 N. Western Ave. in Chicago (a block south of Fullerton) are the legendary best safe guys in the area. Their knowledge of safes is totally amazing. I worship them and their professional skills. Thanks for being there.

I was on hold with Sentry safes customer service for over 30 minutes. While on hold I called Fink Safe and Locks from my cell phone. I explained my problem he told me what to try and it worked. Free technical advice from a neighborhood business. If you need a safe or lock, please buy from Fink Safe.

We accidentally lost the combination to our safe. Without going into the details, Fink Safe & Lock contacted the manufacturer on our behalf and got the combination for us (the manufacturer had refused to give it to us). He wouldn’t accept any payment. (Please don’t expect that to always be the case). How often does this happen in this day and age?
