I showed up at 8:30, said«my watch isn’t working and I don’t know why» and about 5 minutes later it was working like new. New battery, another watch part, and a little readjusting of the hands(they were sticking together) was $ 10. Cash only, but I was able to run down to the ATM downstairs and back and still make it to work by 9. Overall great experience

All of these reviews are accurate for how fantastic this business is. I went a few months ago to replace a 5 year old Kenneth Cole male watchband, which is no longer in production. It is also an unconventional band. He was willing and able to rummage through a very impressive collection of watchbands to find several that might fit. Low and behold I got one that worked and didn’t pay more than $ 50 for it. I wish all businesses were this efficient, affordable and dependable.

If I could give Franko 10 stars, I would! Brought 2 watches in(Tag Heuer & Movado) to have the batteries changed. Both done in only a few minutes and he was courteous and professional as can be. I will definitely bring in additional watches and a few pieces of jewelry that need a little fix. Would highly recommend.

All of the positive reviews on here really are spot on. I came in for a new battery, he took care of it right away and even cleaned up the watch for me. Very positive experience.

I needed to find a place to get my Rolex adjusted and was debating on whether going to another place or Franko’s. Ultimately I decided to go to Franko’s and had no issues. I was in and out. To my surprise, I didn’t think I would get charged for a quick watch adjustment, but it was only $ 10 so it wasn’t a big deal. If you do decide to go to Franko’s, make sure you have cash! If you’re in the area and you need a watch check-up, definitely give Franko’s a try.

Second time here. Brought in an old watch with a crown that kept falling out. He fixed it on the spot and charged me $ 10. I’m a big fan of this place. Not much chit chat, just gets down to business.

Franko was excellent. I came in to get my brand new Marc Jacobs and Micheal Kors watches re-sized. I had every intention on just dropping off my watches and picking them up later. He diligently worked and was done in less than 10 minutes. Might I add, I had no idea his shop was CASH or CHECK only, he was so accommodating, I offered to leave him my watches while I went to the ATM. He assured me I can take my watches and just come back when I had cash. I immediately went to the nearest chase and got the cash. My bill was only $ 20 for two watches. Walked back and gave him the money. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back as soon as my silver Kate Spade watch comes in the mail for re-sizing :) Thanks again Franko!

Had a great experience here. Followed the directions and advice from prior Unilocal reviews(bring cash). Franco took only a few minutes to replace the battery on my Movado watch and charged me just 8 dollars. Great service! Thanks!

Another 5 stars for Franko! My husband bought me a new fancy wedding setting with 9 little diamonds from Kay about a year ago, and the other day I noticed one of them had fallen out. Went to Kay and found out they wouldn’t honor their guarantee, and they were going to charge me $ 75 to have it replaced. I decided to shop around and saw Franko’s good review ratings so I stopped in. He had my ring looking better than new by the next day, and it only cost me $ 35. When I came in to pick it up I brought in a couple watches that needed new batteries and he fixed them up in about 5 minutes, also for a great price. I had read in reviews that he doesn’t take cards so I had my cash all ready, what a great experience.

Macy’s quoted me $ 150 to fix my watch, Franko’s quoted me $ 75. He also fixes vintage and antique watches. Will I be back? Definitely.

This is the only place I will bring my watches to be repaired. Frank is an artist. His specialty are automatic movements. He often does it on the spot and his prices are very fair.

The old elevator in the building took longer than it did for him to change my watch battery. Seriously, two minutes max. I’m still in the building as I type this review. For $ 8 and fast service, don’t say I didn’t recommend the best place in the loop!

Got two batteries replaced in about 10 minutes for a fraction of what I had been paying. What a great, hidden treasure!

Brought in a 30yr old Hamilton Quartz watch I got off eBay, I had replaced the battery but afterward the second hand would not advance. He opened it up and diagnosed the issue quickly(dirty contacts), $ 5 bucks and 5 min later I had a working watch. Can’t beat the service or the price. Will definitely bring him my next eBay gems to service.

Had my 35 year old Rolex restored to immaculate condition for a fraction of the costs others quoted. I would rate Franko’s six stars if I could.

This place is great for fixing watch batteries. Each time I’ve been to Franko’s, I walk right in and have my watch battery changed while I wait no more than 5 or 10 minutes. Afterward, Franko and his staff always clean and shine my watch up, and send me on my way for only $ 10. I love that I can come in only once and wait for the battery change to be completed; makes all the difference for small errands. I highly recommend this shop.

Saw the reviews on Unilocal and had the day off, so I figured I’d check it out. I knew from prior reviews that the shop it was in an office building. Walked in there was a two person wait, which was 5 minutes. Brought in 3 watches, two for battery replacement and one for an added link. I got really worried when I found out it was cash only. It took 10 minutes for everything. Total cost 20 bucks. Place in Water Tower wanted 20 a watch for battery replacement. I will always bring my watches to Franko’s!

Franko is awesome!~ I stopped by at lunchtime during the week for a battery replacement. Someone was waiting in the lobby as he was finishing up. Then he fixed mine. Five minutes and $ 8 bucks later, I’m out the door! Great service. I tipped him too because it just felt nice to do.
