So I need to resize my e-​ring because weight lose, and I think the most right decision I’ve made is come here and do it. My ring is a simple platinum ring with a main diamond on it, and they did a FLAWLESS job on my ring!!! And it only took less than 2 hrs to do it!!! They really made my day and I would HIGHLY recommend it to all my friends!!!

We worked with Julio to design the engagement ring, both of our wedding bands, and a ring for my mother. He is incredibly honest, fair and amazing to work with. I perceive buying jewelry like buying a used car; I’m never going to walkaway feeling like I got a good deal. That is not true hear. It would be hard for me to have a better impression of working with Julio and to feel that we were treated fairly.
He put in a lot of time working on my fiancées custom ring with thought and consideration for what she wanted.

Because I’m celebrating my 10 year anniversary I’ve been to every Jeweler in town. I’ve read so many reviews and saw so many pictures but the only place that made me feel comfortable and understood my strange request was Julio himself. When I say strange request I mean I gave him 5 pictures and asked him can he create a ring for me. He took the best quality from each ring. The picture speaks for itself. This is one of the best gifts I’ve ever received.

This place is seriously the best thing for me. I had so many broken necklaces and they not only fix them for really cheap prices, they return them so clean, you swear the pieces were brand new. Everyone there is so kind and friendly, and are true examples of impeccable service skills backed up with great prices and incomparable quality. If you need a ring resized, a diamond set, a necklace fixed, GO HERE!

I’ve never been the person to write reviews or rate anything but I felt compelled to do so after the AMAZING job they did on my fiancé’s engagement ring. Julio and his team were complete professionals with a home/​friend type of feel which is what I appreciated the most.
I had the opportunity to work with Julio for a few months on designing the engagement ring. Within a day, Julio drafted multiple examples and concepts for me to view. After the approval, the ring was made and he provided me with an endless amount of stones ALL within my Budget.
The GV team is patient, professional, and amazing at what they do. I didn’t feel like I was getting robbed like when I went to a «big name» jewelry company. If you’re looking for a jeweler I HIGHLY encourage you to go with them, you won’t regret it.

Julio is an absolute genius and does an amazing job designing jewelry. I got my engagement ring made here and it was VERY affordable (no one tried to upcharge us) and quick. A stone feel out within a couple days and it was fixed free of charge very quickly. Great customer service.

GV Jewelry is a family owned and operated business that clearly cares about its product and its customers. It is obvious that they take pride in creating quality jewelry and are passionate about what they do. I went in during my search for a wedding band — once there, I knew I didn’t have to go any further. Julio looked at my vintage engagement ring and started explaining some of the craftsmanship and details of the ring to me. He went beyond the «oh that’s so pretty» and I could tell that he both knew his stuff and that he was genuinely appreciative of the work that had gone into the ring. Julio then described what he would suggest for a band that would compliment it. It was exactly what I was hoping for but had not seen elsewhere. Despite being a custom band, it was going to be less expensive than other places I’d been. Less expensive and precisely what I wanted? Could it be too good to be true? In fact GV Jewelry is just that good. Julio communicated with me throughout the process and even went the extra mile to make a couple of wax molds for me to look at and see with my engagement ring. I picked up the finished band today and it is stunning. Delicate, beautifully hand engraved and a wonderful fit. I could not have asked for more.

The service there is amazing and they do such great work at economical prices. It is mostly custom jewelry so you get a truly unique piece.

Julio is super-«engaged» in his work! I felt like I took a part of him home after his fantastic filigree design was forged for my fiancé. He had great suggestions to improve my vision and a final product fit only for a queen! I will be coming back for my wedding ring, for sure!

This place is amazing — I have purchased only a simple ring from them thus far but they couldn’t have been nicer, more willing to help, or more willing to work with us. We bought a simple ring that was «in stock» based on our own time constraints but ultimately wanted something similar but slightly bigger — they offered to apply the cost of the ring to what we wanted ultimately in trade for the final ring (melting down the ring we bought). I had the impression that they would work with us no matter what we wanted to do. We will be back very soon!
What a wonderful place, I am one among many who could not recommend it more highly.

G V Jewelry is THE BEST! After feeling overwhelmed by all the engagement ring options– I decided to buy a cheap vintage ring I fell in love with, with the idea that I could get it remade in real white gold and diamonds. I brought the ring to G V and Julio and his whole family took such great care of us. I got to give input on the CAD design until it was just right. I picked up the ring yesterday and it’s even better than the original! So thrilled. These guys won’t nickle and dime you. They are a genuine family store committed to their craft. Couldn’t say enough about them.

I just got engaged and my fiancé proposed with an heirloom ring that was almost 4 sizes too big for me. The first place I called to ask for quotes and timeline on resizing told me it would cost $ 130 and take at least a week to resize a simple white gold band on a solitaire engagement ring. The second place I called was G V Jewelry. I was intrigued by the fact that they are so close to my apartment yet I’d never really noticed their storefront. I spoke to someone who let me know that they could do the resizing within one day, so I put my name down to bring in the ring the next morning.
When I got to the store, Julio worked with me by first examining the ring and then working with my preferences to clean it, resize it, and do a new coat of rhodium plating. He did the resize within 20 minutes and was able to clean away a big chunk of dirt that was clinging to the diamond. When I tried the newly sized ring on, it felt a little tight, so I asked if we could go up ¼ of a size. He was happy to do it — still by the end of that day! I left the ring with him as I had to go back to work, but the second resizing was done within 2 hours and I was able to pick it up right after work.
I was amazed by how approachable and friendly Julio and his father were in all my interactions with them. And the resizing (with rhodium plating) cost less than ¹⁄₃ of what the other jeweler quoted me! I am super happy I went to G V Jewelry, and my fiancé and I will likely be back when it comes time to getting wedding bands made.

Update: I had Julio do an upgrade on my engagement ring setting. It was a solitaire and I wanted a halo. He designed it and made the new halo setting to match almost exactly with the rest of the ring. It even sits perfectly flush with the wedding band. The setting he made really showcases my beautiful diamond so well and gave a whole new life to it. It shines brighter than ever before!
It was done so fast. I am so happy with it!!! I recommended them to a friend who got a wedding set made by GV and she is also extremely happy!!! Thanks Julio and Gerardo!!! My jewelers for life!

Julio, the son of the owner, and the designer for new rings, did an unforgettable job in the engagement ring I requested. I wanted the stone from another ring I had, and he was great about offering suggestions and promptly communicating through email with a possible design, mocked up through cad. He took the stone, mounted it in white gold in the simple, vintage style I wanted, with customized leaf designs. The final product was unique, beautiful, and looks even better over time. I’m writing to give credit where credit is due.
The shop is small, family run, and there isn’t an extensive selection of rings, but the true quality of this store is in the people running it. They clearly prioritize product quality and customization, rather than the bottom line, and they will work passionately to find or to make a ring for you.

Awesome awesome awesome. We chose this place because of the reasonable prices, family staff, and great reviews. My fiancée and I just received our custom wedding rings after just 2 weeks and I’m in love. Julio was super helpful throughout the whole process. I know nothing about rings and he guided towards one that really compliments my engagement ring. It’s a little out of the way but so worth it to not have to go to jewelers row. (Where you’ll pay an arm and a leg. And you definitely won’t get the one on one attention you need when picking out a ring to wear for the rest of your life!) For both our rings it came to $ 1600 tax and all. Hard to beat that price. Go here. You won’t regret it.

I entered in to this little «gem» of a storefront and was delighted to be treated like the «diamond» I think of myself as being. Julio examined the costume «treasures» I sheepishly brought in and repaired a few links and such immediately, and promised to get the rest done swiftly. I didn’t feel embarrassed by my bargain «jewels» like I did at another watch repair counter (I’m looking right at you water tower watch kiosk)
I will happily pick up my «trove of gold» next week.
As a bonus, they have very nice house plants and a wide selection of chunky gold bracelets for gentleman.

These guys are the best! My fiancé bought my engagement ring here, unfortunately I have very sensitive skin and was unable to wear the metal he got, so we worked with Julio to extract the diamonds and re-​create an amazing new ring in a different setting! I absolutely love it. The entire process was seamless and easy. I had a blast customizing exactly how I wanted the ring… They actually work with a digital imaging program so you can see what your ring would look like before it’s made. Highly recommended!

I recently moved to the neighborhood and drive pass by GV everyday. One day me and my boyfriend decide to get marry and pick GV to take care of our ring for our spacial day as we’ve seen a good review on Unilocal.
We definitely agree GV is the best jeweler. I have never been. We went on Wednesday and order custom engagement ring and wedding band for our wedding on Saturday. I know it’s rush order but Julio and his dad was working hard for us and got the ring done on time with very reasonable price and also absolutely perfect job and ring is very beautiful.
We both is very impress and totally agree to give them 5 stars for this and also looking forward to visit there again.
