Recommended. Reminded me of an old school card shop. The store is kind of disorganized but its part of the charm. Magic on Friday nights! Not five stars because the AC isn’t in the gaming room. They have a good selection of cards and clix. Plenty of parking. You walk through the back door and open the door on the left to get to the gaming room.

A quaint mom and pop shop for board game, video game and card game enthusiasts. Having a close relationship with someone who worked with what’s probably the largest gaming company(I won’t mention names) it’s nice to be in a place with a relaxed environment, where you can ask questions and not get a prescripted response and not be asked to sign up for a million things when you check out. Since my first visit to this store I have become hooked on Heroclix. They also have gaming tournaments and show WWE pay-per-views.

Pretty confusing to get to(seriously, who designed 6 corners) but well worth a visit. First off, this place has an interesting variety of games outside of the stuff you usually see at major retailers. Secondly, I’m not usually a big fan of board games since I don’t have the patience to read the directions but the employee there(Jay) offered to sit down and teach me how to play a game I had been eyeing(because of the pretty packaging). As someone who works in retail, this is impeccable customer service. I’d come back for that alone.

So I was walking by not knowing this place existed, and went in not expecting much. Ended up chatting with the worker there, Jay(whom by the way is unbelievably friendly and informative of everything), and walked out of the store with a brand new board game to play that night! They have 2 tournament style tv systems set up to have LAN parties, as well as demo some of the games they have(they even have a NES system!!!). In the back they have several tables all set up to demo the board games that they sell, as well as play card games. Great niche of a store, not the typical chain store, but rather a cozy boutique store. While I normally would order everything from Amazon(prime membership), the customer service was above and beyond what I would get from a lot of stores, so I’d go back just for that.
