Green Star Movement inspires students and community members through the creation of public art. In addition to our youth programs, we also offer mosaic classes for the general public and mosaic design and installation for private and commercial clients.

Established in 2005.

Green Star Movement was founded in 2005 by artist and educator Kamelia Hristeva.

Meet the Business Owner

Kamelia H.

Business Owner

Ms. Hristeva earned a B.A. in Fine Arts and Education from Northeastern University. She worked as an Artist Educator for After School Matters and Chicago Public Art Group and as an Instructor for Young Rembrandts before starting Green Star Movement in 2005. As CEO, Kamelia oversees all projects from concept to installation, manages our team of teaching artists, and secures funding through grant writing and partnerships.
