Awesome experience! Celso did my taxes this year and last year. He’s very thorough. Answered all my questions about I-​9, home office deductions, and insurance. If you come to this location, ask for Celso, he’s knows his stuff!

Celso was great! I had a great experience with him. He was very friendly and educated me well on a lot of tax items that I’ve never thought of before. He explained every step of the process in detail, and I didn’t feel pressured to go one way or the other at all. Also, a few weeks later I brought my fiancé in to do his taxes, and Celso helped us out right away. My fiancé said he learned a lot as well, and the process was quick and easy. If I decide to not do my taxes on my own next year, I will certainly go back to H&R Block.

This place has excellent service! I went there to Get a copy of my 2013 taxes, and everyone there (the tax specialist, manager, secretary) were extremely helpful! I am definitely going back there to get my taxes done.

I made an 11am appointment online. I arrived about half an hour early. The lady at the reception desk spoke very little English; she motioned for me to take a seat. At 11am she handed me her cell phone. The branch manager was on the line. The manager told me that the tax preparer wouldn’t be in until later in the afternoon. I told her that I was very unhappy with the experience I had had so far and did not want to reschedule for a later appointment. Throughout the day I received multiple calls from HR block. I let them all go to voicemail. When I listened to the messages I found that they were asking me to reschedule. I called them back to ask them to stop calling me. The receptionist answered, and due to her inability to communicate with me, kept me on hold for a while until an English speaking associate could talk to me.
I ended up doing my taxes online with TurboTax. It was quick, easy and MUCH cheaper than H&R Block.

If I Could give this place negative stars, I would. I’m not one to Unilocal,or do online rating, but my experience with this specific location, as well as H & R Block customer service to resolve this issue has been horrifying. I made an appointment with a gentleman who was supposedly an accountant for H & R for ten years. When he called me back to his cubicle he asks me «Am I doing your taxes?» I was thrown back considering my appointment was specifically scheduled with him. In the start of my process he didn’t even acknowledge when I told him I was referred (because they have a referral program) AND that I was there for the 50% Off Last Years Tax Cost promo. After almost THREE HOURS of me helping him throughout the computer system, suggesting the RIGHT buttons to click, my taxes were $ 2,000 less than they have ever been in previous years, and he charged me almost $ 600 just to file there. When I asked him to explain the drastic differences between this years and last, he told me he couldn’t because I didn’t have my taxes done there the year before, EVEN THOUGH I brought everything I had from the year before for the 50% off I never received, I was dumbfounded. Because he was the only one left in the office by the end of my «experience» I payed and left, it was obvious he wouldn’t be able to help me resolve and of my issues or concerns, figuring I’d call the 800 number the next day to get help. I was told they would send me a refund, to wait 3 – 5 days for a follow up call. It’s been 3 weeks! After a few check in phone calls, where I’m told they are «still investigating» I have heard nothing. Worst tax experience of my life, and I still have to pay someone else to over look what he did and figure out why I received 2 grand less than ever before. Biggest mistake and regret going to this place!!! Don’t do it!

This branch messed up my taxes and they were electronically rejected. After being electronically rejected the branch never notified me. I went back in after never receiving my tax return and no one seemed to know what was going on.
I was very unhappy with the service here and will never go back again.

I took a few hours off of work and scheduled an appointment. After arriving 10 minutes early, I stood at the front desk waiting for someone for about 10 min. When someone finally did come, he asked if I could wait a bit because she had just taken two walk ins before me. I rescheduled for 2 and decided to get some food. I read some more Unilocal reviews on this place and decided id be better off using turbotax. Do not go to this place.

I’ve gone in here 4 – 5 times in the past year, due to CALVIN TOWNSELL improperly filing my returns.

Not only does the place smell like urine, but the man I worked with, CALVIN TOWNSELL, was completely clueless and disregarded anything I had to ask or say to him. The government sent me a letter saying that I overpaid in 2011, and I had Calvin try and figure things out. What he ended up doing was saying they owed me more like 1000. I asked him politely «will this just complicate things and make them ask for more documents?» He replies «No»
I get another letter from them asking for the SAME thing. Documentation supporting WHY I should get this money back. I’ve given Calvin all the information, he just DOES A TERRIBLE JOB. He’s extremely hard to work with and not understandable.

I made an appointment, but there was only one tax specialist at this location when I arrived. She was working with someone else. I sat for 35 minutes. When I asked the guy working at the counter when she would be available, since I had an appointment 35 minutes before. He said, «I have no idea.» And he told me to go sit down.
At the least, they are not well organized and that’s problematic for a tax specialist. So, I would say, don’t go here unless you have an extra hour to waste.

Do not go here, under any circumstances. You are honestly better off on Turbo Tax or winging it on your own. The reason we went there was to find out what kind of documentation one needs to claim working in a home office. We had an appointment, and they seemed confused when we walked in at our set appt time. You know what she did to answer our questions? She went to the IRS’s homepage and started searching around, which is something I can do too because I am also capable of reading. We left. It was an absolute joke.
I think you might be better off getting a crayon, closing your eyes and doing your taxes. Plus, it won’t cost you $ 200 bucks.

Don’t do it! We had to tell the employee how to fill out the forms. She had never seen IRA or 401k statements before and didn’t know what many forms the computer filled out were. We ended up leaving in the middle of the session. It would have cost us 200 bucks had we filed there. Not worth it, everything was wrong.
