History

Established in 2013.

We are now partnered with Red Line Painting! After starting Red Line Painting in 2008, we realized that our customers were looking for a one stop shop that could also handle the basic repairs and smaller scale home improvements for their home. We now handle all types of residential painting (interior and exterior), as well as all kinds of drywall repairs, fixture installation/​replacement, interior /​exterior door replacements and repairs, as well as move in /​move out punch list.

I was super pleased with Handyman Connection from start to finish! Making an appointment was a breeze and I was able to get an appointment for the following week. On the day-​of, I got a text that said Peter was on his way with his contact info. I appreciated that! Peter was super helpful and thorough. I had a door that always was a little wonky and had recently fallen off the hinges. He fixed it and cleaned up. The door is better now than it ever was! I’m completely satisfied with the work and will definitely ask for Peter if I need anything else done.

Peter with Handyman Connection did an amazing job repairing our Pella storm door. The company did an excellent job scheduling our appointments quickly and their pricing is very reasonable. This is my second review for Handyman Connection. I hired them again after a great experience last time. This time, they sent a gentleman named Peter. He was professional, kind and knowledgeable. We were so pleased with his work, we had him back (by request) again 2 days later for additional work. Again, I recommend Handyman Connection for your home repair needs, and if you call… request Peter!

I needed a very heavy mirror hung on my wall, as well as some shelves and some hooks, and I wanted it done right. There is nothing worse than a loose hook on your wall, or a 40-​pound mirror falling off the wall, right? Well — Handyman Connection was definitely the right place to go. I’m not only writing a review for the company, but the particular «handyman» that was deployed to my home was A+ amazing. Peter F. was thoughtful, deliberate, highly skilled and super personable. He ran into some snags when trying to hang a few pieces and he creatively fixed the problems and moved on – efficient, skilled, and great to work with. If you want a job done right, ask for Peter!

I needed to get the caulk around my bathtub removed and replaced due to mold and mildew in the caulk which was installed less than a year ago. They were able to get out the same day and recommended a silicone that would prevent the mold and mildew. The handyman, Ed, was efficient, thorough and polite; I really appreciated him taking his shoes off at the door. He cleaned up the material he removed so minimal mess for me.

This company was terrific from start to finish. I made an appointment over the phone with a very friendly representative for a free quote. I received an email confirmation and an email reminder the day of, which was helpful because I had forgotten AND needed to reschedule. They were extremely accommodating and were able to arrive earlier than the time I selected, as I requested. Peter was the handyman who handled the job. He gave an accurate assessment of the problem, a reasonable quote, which we accepted on the spot, and he completed the job immediately. He did a wonderful job and cleaned up well after. We will definitely be using him for another project soon!

Nothing but positives to say about Handyman Connection! We had some minor house repairs and painting needed. Scheduling was easy and they were able to accommodate our schedule. The work was done over 2 days. Both technicians that came to our house showed up on time and with a smile. Both were extremely cordial and great communicators. I also like the fact that they are utilizing technology to support their services — email reminders of the appointment. Text messages when the technician was arriving. The work they did was spot on. Everything repaired to our satisfaction. Work was done efficiently. Cost was fair. From start to finish, the entire process was a breeze. Our first experience with Handyman Connection makes it a no brainer to call them first the next time we need their services.

Pleased with the estimate process. Price was fair, Chris was friendly, informed and punctual. We had used Red Line Painting in the past and were very satisfied.
The painting and minor contracting work Handyman Connection did for us this time was satisfactory. However, we were not nearly as pleased with the completion of the work for the following reasons:
1. We left keys and were out of town for five business days, returning on a Saturday evening. We were told that the project would be completed by the time we got home, and based on other estimates we received we thought it was doable. We got an email on Saturday, early afternoon, stating that Chris had just been at our place; it wasn’t finished, a couple of touch-​ups and clean up still had to occur. We were disappointed, but understood.
This alone would not have been reason enough to write a review, but in combination with the following, I felt it was important to mention.
2. Upon our arrival home, we discovered our condo in what I can only describe as disarray. We had light fixtures removed from two bedrooms and ceiling fans installed. One of the old fixtures, which was dusty/​rusty/​trash was just sitting on our couch. No tarp, no plastic. In our bedroom, where a fan had been installed and the ceiling painted, there was a pile of our belongings in the middle of the room and our mattress was leaning up against the wall. [We had left our mattress like that to try and make the job easier; we DID NOT leave a pile of our belongings.] The pile also contained towels, leftover plastic, paint chips, etc. There were also other pieces of plastic and trash in other rooms.
My biggest question is: why did we have to clean up after this crew? I understand that there was still work to be done, but all involved knew we were coming home on Saturday. It was not left in livable condition. We spent over two hours bagging up trash, putting the bed back together and cleaning the floor.
This work took place months ago, and I waited a while to leave a review to make sure it wasn’t an emotional response. I would not recommend them to anyone. We had other rooms painted over the summer, and they actually fixed roller marks that had been left on the ceiling and splotches that were all over the place near the trim. I hadn’t even noticed them, probably because I was so upset about the way Handyman Connection treated our home.

If you are looking for the PERFECT handyman (and who isn’t), look no further. It doesn’t get any better than these guys. From start to finish they are reliable, reasonably priced, extremely accommodating – but best of all, they do fantastic work. We have used them twice now to do a long list of minor and major repairs and they have worked miracles.
A couple of the repairs were ones done poorly by other handyman companies – the light fixture the other company put up a year ago actually fell out of the ceiling and a hand railing put up by another contractor snapped off because it hadn’t been attached to any studs. Don’t make the same costly mistakes we did – hire this company the first time.

Had a GREAT experience with Rommel last night! He was SUPER friendly, clearly knew what he was doing, allowed our puppy to «help him» fix the kitchen faucet, and was a better deal than anyone else I’d called in the area (about a dozen places). Definitely recommend giving these guys a call!

Handyman Connection has been great to work with. I’ve had them complete two repair projects for clients of mine (I work in Real Estate) and have also had them out to my own house for small repairs as well.
Scheduling here is a breeze– you can either call or email with Shawn (office guy and scheduler) and they get you booked up for their next available appointment. Estimates have always been accurate, and I’ve worked with Rommell (Handyman) on all 3 projects. Rommell has always been on time (or even 15 – 30 minutes early!) and is thorough, cleans up after himself, and generally knows what he’s doing.
This place is reliable, which really is what it comes down to with handymen. Many of the other businesses I’ve used over the years over promise and under deliver. This is NOT the case with Handyman Connection. Their guys show up, they’re easy to schedule, estimates are accurate, and work is completed as described!
