History

Established in 2011.

Holistics by Summer began as a private practice business in which Summer used her gifts and love of astrology, channeling, energy healing, and clairvoyance to help others on their journey. It has expanded into a small storefront, where Summer sells the candles, jewelry, incense and other spiritual tools she makes by hand. Services are still available, but by appointment only. Summer teaches classes and certification courses around the Chicago area on crystals, astrology, meditation, and channeling. She does sessions over the phone and is able to do long-​distance healing worldwide. She’s currently in the process of finishing several esoteric books to be published in the coming years.

Summer does intuitive energy-​field healing using Reiki, other crystal-​based therapies, crystal and oil elixirs, and auric sealing with all clients during and after sessions. She is a certified Reiki Practitioner of «Western-​Style» Usui Shiki Ryoho; is able to sense auric vibrations of clients, allowing her to give spiritual guidance to those seeking to raise their own vibrations or to keep them clear. Summer is an evolutionary astrologer, able to view your birth chart from a past-​life perspective and help you rediscover your current life’s purpose. She has access to the Akashic Records, communicates with the Ascended Masters and Archangels, and is able to introduce you to your personal spirit guide. Summer also practices Angel Magick and is a White Magick practitioner.

I highly recommend Summer’s distance healing work. She performed a psychic cord removal for me, pulling the energetic cords that were blocking the energetic centers of my body. We scheduled a time to do the work, Summer sent me detailed instructions, and I essentially lay in meditation for an hour at home while Summer worked on me. I have experienced a great deal of energy work, but I felt the most significant results I’ve ever experienced from working with Summer. I feel much lighter and freer and have seen many positive changes in my life since that time. Summer was also really available and thorough in following up with me over the next few days, and since then we have done another follow-​up session. She also mailed me additional tools to use at home as part of the ritual. She uses your astrological chart and crystal grid she makes for you in her studio as well. I can’t really recommend her highly enough and would suggest getting in touch to learn more about what she does. I trust her, and her skills.

I had never experienced Reiki until I met Summer. When I first met her, I could feel a calming and healing energy just being in her presence. When I entered Summer’s home she made me feel comfortable and at ease. She listened thoroughly to my history and health complaints. I was surprised that she had already created a meditation CD for me and performed an Angel Card reading with detailed notes, which was above and beyond my expectations. In Summer’s treatment room, she took time to make me feel comfortable and relaxed, and answered every question I asked. She selected crystals and music with the utmost care. When she performed Reiki, I could feel she was fully present and putting 100% of her focus on my treatment. After treatment, I felt incredibly renewed and rejuvenated, like I can come out of a deep sleep. I had a sense of calm and serenity unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Summer has a true talent for healing and is an incredible individual!

Summer is as good as it gets! She is extremely thorough (each and every time I come for healing, I know she is listening carefully to my present conditions and treating me each session as-​needed), focused, and talented. Her constant professionality and respectful demeanor helped ease any anxiety regarding my first treatment, and she has helped my neck and wrist pain to lessen on a multitude of levels. With gua sha, the pain quite simply melted away. Summer empowers her clients and is an incredible healer who will present different options of healing to you. She will get right to work in helping you feel better– I know I am so grateful to have received such help from her.

Summer is a Goddess! Truly, she is an amazing and talented holistic practitioner. I am completely blown away at the level of pain relief that was achieved after one session with her. Some quick facts: I had a cervical spine surgery in January of 2013. An anterior decompression and fusion of C7. PAINFUL — Before, during and AFTER the surgery. Obviously, I was not too pleased as the procedure was supposed to correct the intense pain. Yet nothing touched it– high doses of pain killers did zero. So ummm yeah it sucked. Had I known of Summer’s talents I can tell you one thing with absolute certainty: I NEVER would have had back surgery — ever.
First, let me say she is incredibly thorough and professional spending 45 minutes on my medical history prior to the first treatment.
Second, different modalities work on various people. For me Gua Sha was the magic (It’s not, but it felt like it!) my body needed. You are best off to Google the term as I could spend the rest of the review attempting to explain it. It felt amazing, as if all of the tension in my muscles was simply melting away. It left some funky markings, but that is normal. I could have cared less because I walked out of there completely PAIN FREE!!! I mean nothing– gone! It was the happiest I had been in almost a year.
I also got a luxuriously emollient sample of organic facial moisturizer (also made by summer), which was perfect for my parched skin.
I have been seeing Summer as much as possible since our first meeting– I thought I should spread the love & the healing!
