History

Established in 1990.

William Weingarten is an independent programmer and entrepreneur. In 1990, he created HomeTech Computer Solutions as one of the first of it’s kind to offer onsite computer repair and technical support to local homes and businesses in the north Chicago and northern suburbs area. HomeTechs is still to this day, locally owned and operated and is distinguished by it’s staff’s superior knowledge, experience and dedication to customer service and satisfaction!

Starting with a successful independent software design company in the 80’s, Garden Software, Mr. Weingarten foresaw an emerging need for onsite computer repair and technical support.
