This place is the best! Their rates are incredibly reasonable, they are reliable about having things done on time, and they save their customers money wherever they can. For example, I brought my boyfriend’s jacket in. Its zipper was not working. Instead of replacing the entire zipper — which I assume would have cost $ 20 — they just replaced the zipper head for $ 5. Also once I dropped off a pair of his pants that he had torn roller blading along the lake, and they had it done for me as requested at the end of the hour. Finally, these ladies have done many things for free for me, such as repairing holes in sweaters. I have just moved out of Chicago, and I will miss them!

This dry cleaning store put stains on my jacket and refused to give me a refund. Poor customer service.

So location/​convenience are the initial reasons for becoming a customer. Now that it is no longer local or convenient I can’t imagine making the effort to come here. In addition to just normal dry cleaning, I also had a jacket relined. MISTAKE!!! I asked for a blue satin lining to be used, and they used a off-​white cotton lining. Couldn’t be more unattractive. They also beat up the zipper clasp pretty good, with half of it missing. Not what you want happening to a vintage football jacket. Too bad, because they are very nice and very personable.

My pants split on a seam and my attempts at repairing them were laughable, to say the least. So I headed over and asked them to sew them up for me. Not only did they not laugh at my feeble seamstress abilities, they did not charge me for the repair.

Your average dry cleaners. Unfortunately we’ve brought in two white items (a shirt and lab coat) and showed them the collar etc. They came back to us as dirty as when I took them in. I expect the dry cleaners to do a better job than I can, unfortunately this isn’t the first place to fail me. I’ll be shopping around elsewhere now.
