Both of my kids went here and its a biggest middle school I’ve ever seen. They have state of the art computers. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because they like to change the uniform color and its hard to find gray polo and they want the school logo to be on it but that makes each shirt 20 dollars. Not to mention other fees.

Very rare 5’s for myself are VERY RARE. I took a tour of this school and was highly impressed at its ingenuity and very advanced space.
The past has given the 606 291 area (where I live), crowded schools and very run down and antiquated spaces. But in 2009, that became a thing of the past. With Hernandez school coming to the forefront and able to show the south west side how innovative the architects did up this beautiful building. If you ever get a chance, stop by and ask for information, I am sure you will be highly impressed. This school rivals the Near North Academy on the North-​side of Chicago. Amazing work and the building is still being worked on for even more space.
