I called J&A for some plumbing work in my bathroom. They came out and said the pipe was fixed. It started leaking again the next morning! Their quality of work is horrible and I won’t be calling them to fix anything again! They were also more expensive than the real plumber that fixed it the next day! Don’t use them, you will be sorry!

Last fall, Joe installed a overhead flood control system along with an ejector pump. He is price was great and he worked with Madden Sewer to get the job done. This weekend the pump broke. No worries — Joe covered the cost of a new pump and the labor even though the Madden guys came out first to check for the problem. I couldn’t recommend J & A more — I will never call another plumber for our work. You can’t go wrong.

Joe and Jason are simply great. Quick, professional, well priced, and quality work. I would recommend (and have recommended) them without any hesitation whatsoever.
We were putting our condo on the market, and previously were told that in order to fix a non-​functioning shower we would have to open up the tiled wall. Because of the can of worms that opens up, we didn’t want to do that and were planning on taking our chances with the real estate market.
My sister-​in-​law referred us to J&A, and, since we didn’t have anything to lose, we though we’d give them a call. I called on a weekday afternoon, and less than 24 hours after my initial call Jason was at our condo, had diagnosed the problem, and was working on the special order for the replacement parts. Due to the age and physical structure of the bathroom, it was a really tough job, but everything was like new when they were done, the work was done in a very timely manner, and they did the job without having to tear apart anything in the bathroom!
I was really, really happy with the level and quality of service, and J&A are going to be my go-​to for all my future plumbing needs.

J&A was really accommodating. It is hard to schedule things over the phone with my job, but fortunately Joe responded to my voicemail with a text message. He came over promptly to give us an estimate. We were able to consolidate visits with our upstairs neighbors and save on the initial fee and Joe had no problem with accepting two forms of payment. We are moving soon but will definitely be using J&A for future plumbing issues.

Joe was great! Our pipes burst during the «Polar Vortex» cold. Another plumber did not show up and didn’t answer calls. Joe was polite, quick, and affordable! I will call him for any and all plumbing issues in the future!

We are currently living in Hawaii, but still own our condo in Chicago. When our tenants called with a plumbing issue, we wanted someone there as quickly as possible. I called a few plumbers with good reviews on Unilocal and Joe was the first to call me back — now that I think of it, he is the ONLY one that called back! He was very nice and immediately contacted our tenants to set up a time that was convenient for everyone. He did the work and allowed to me to send him the payment through Chase Quickpay since I’m not in town. My tenant said he was polite and professional and she was very pleased with him. So now he’s saved in my phone contacts for any future plumbing issues. You won’t be disappointed if you use J&A Plumbing!

Had j&a plumbing do a bathroom and kitchen with new water lines and drains. The work was done on time and to the price originally quoted. I will be using them on all of my future projects!

Used J & A Plumbing multiple times when I remodeled my kitchen and bathroom. Work was completed on their part in a timely fashion. The guy Joe did my sinks, toilet, dishwasher, and tub. He even gave me pointers on how to save money on my water bill. I am definitely going to use them when I remodel my basement.

They do great timely work. First Time I used J&A was when my shower handle broke and water was shooting everywhere. He rushed over and fixed it up. I called them back for my bathroom remodeling and to install my dishwasher. Great work every time!
