A custom creation can be as simple or complex as the client’s desire dictates. Many jewelers only provide you with the options of what they have in stock. At K. Stonehill Creations we enjoy the artistic process of creating exactly what our client wants. We will do our best to accommodate a client’s needs.

At K. Stonehill Creations we specialize in redesigning our clients’ existing jewelry. In these challenging economic times, using a client’s existing stones and metal makes the cost of new WOW piece (s) of jewelry affordable.

We also offer full service jewelry repair and take fine jewelry pieces on consignment for clients. The price of gold is at historically high prices, we pay fair market prices for gold, platinium & silver.

History

Established in 2002.

K. Stonehill Creations was formerly Liamon Jewelers with its home at 15 S. Wabash. In 2009, K. Stonehill Creations was formed by head designer Keren Biran Stonehill and moved its headquarters to Lincoln Park and partnered with Julie Peckham. The new home of K. Stonehill Creations is located in the heart of Old Town at 1429 N. Wells street at Schiller.

K. Stonehill Creations specializes in custom design and works with its clients to re-​purpose old stones and metals into a creation that they will love to wear. We also have a full inventory of engagement, diamonds, gemstones and pearls and we handle a full array of repairs.

Ongoing high-​quality service and treating our clients like family is the philosophy of our business. We stand behind our products and service and we will do what it takes to ensure that our customers leave with a smile on their face!

Keren Biran Stonehill is the founder of K. Stonehill Creations, formerly Liamon Jewelers. Keren is a virtuoso in jewelry design. With over 8 years of experience at Jewelers Row Mall in downtown Chicago, Keren was proficiently trained by some of the finest jewelers in the industry.

Keren’s business partner, Julie Peckham, has a sales, marketing and finance background combined with a passion for jewelry and fashion and making people look and feel their best.

Whether you want to design a one-​of-​a-​kind piece of jewelry or re-​purpose jewelry that you are not wearing or that has sentimental value, K. Stonehill Creations will exceed your expectations.

My fiancée chose K-​Stonehill Creations for my engagement ring, and I must say how stunning it is! A carefully selected diamond on a band with very fine accompanying diamonds.
It is so beautiful that I had concerns about how to order a wedding band that would complement it and not get overlooked.

K Stonehill Creations is my new go-​to jeweler!!! My fiancé and I checked out several stores (the usual suspects on Oak Street and Michigan Avenue) in search of our wedding bands before stumbling upon Stonehill’s storefront in Old Town.
We were immediately impressed with the beautiful showroom and custom designed jewelry. We ultimately decided to purchase our wedding bands from them because the owner really took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for. She is patient, smart and has impeccable taste. We never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision and she made the entire process so much fun. Not only does she take pride in her work, but she wants to create a long-​term relationship with her customers.
In an age of online purchases and big chain stores, K-​Stonehill Creations is a perfect gem that truly shines above the rest.

I’ve found my jeweler!
Keren created the most beautiful engagement ring for my fiancé and I. Set in a custom made platinum setting is a diamond that sparkles in any light. I decided to work with Keren because she is upfront and honest about every aspect of purchasing a diamond and setting. During the process she worked with me on multiple models all while keeping the budget in mind.
Many friends have asked where I got the ring (because it looks so good) and I have proudly directed them to Keren.

Picking out your engagement ring is not only one of the most important moments of your life but one of the most stressful. You only get one chance to pick something that is of amazing quality and for a fair price. This is where Karen blew even my high expectations away. Too a point where I cancelled my appointments with everyone else. Her knowledge on diamonds and their quality was simply astonishing. She respected my budget but also what I wanted and spent a ton of time going through different options with me. Her follow up was impecable and she even held two different options for me so I could take my time to make the right decision. Finally she charged me a very fair price. To this day I have never seen a business owner and her staff be more knowledgeable and truly put my interests first. She defines a professional and I will never go anywhere in terms of jewelers besides her. Go see her and her staff and you will feel the same way. K Stonehill offers a very nice assortment of modern & vintage-​style jewelry
BFF & I were drawn in by a lovely rutilated quartz ring, we saw in the window
The person in the shop (I think, the owner) was already speaking w/​someone in the store, who we assumed was in the jewelry business as well, b/​c they were talking about stone suppliers & prices for various gems…
She brought out this emerald ring a client had brought in b/​c the stone had cracked. They spoke about how she replaced the old Colombian emerald w/​a Brazilian emerald, which cost her $ 550 per carat… not sure what price she passed on to the client…
But if the price of the quartz was any indication, it was one *pricey* replacement. That quartz was WAY above what I was willing to pay for a non-​precious gem… but I definitely acknowledge it was a lovely stone & the setting was simple yet elegant
She offered to make it in a lesser quality gold but 1st of all, it would have been a different ring & secondly, even then, it was still well above my willingness factor… not for quartz
So overall assessment of this shop was A-​OK. There are precious & non-​precious stones set in modern & vintage styles & if you are willing to pay the asking prices, you will indeed have a lovely treasure

I created a custom engagement ring with Keren, and from day one I knew I was in good hands. I won’t be saying anything new here, but it’s definitely worth repeating. Her eye for detail and beauty is second to none, and she genuinely cares about the happiness of her customers and the quality of her work. Recently purchased a single diamond earring for myself from Keren.
It’s a beautiful piece sold at a great price and with appraisal included. My only ‘complaint’ is that Keren’s assortment is so beautiful and her staff is so friendly that my girlfriend was like ‘Ummmm hello? What are you getting for me?‘
That’s a good problem to have. Keren is my new go-​to jeweler for all things beautiful whether for my significant others or for me.

Keren is absolutely the best. I stumbled onto her when I worked by Jewelers Row. She was absolutely the easiest jeweler I have ever talked with. Not pushy. Very fair. Extremely helpful. I have bought rings and earrings from her. They always dazzle. My wife loves her too.
She works for you to get the best deal no matter what our budget was. Her taste is fantastic. Her work is impeccable. And she stands by her work too. I cannot say enough about her.

We worked with Keren on an engagement ring. At first we were a little putoff, the place seemed too mainstream for us, but Keren listened to us on our first visit and on our second visit she had a billion solid ideas as well as some stones for us to look at. We designed the ring around a Sri Lankan sapphire. We had to send the ring back a couple of times for design tweaks but Keren never batted an eye. She said that excellence was their standard, which sounds like a cliché but they lived up to it. Really gorgeous ring.
