King Kong Movers

I would never use King Kong movers again. My 1^st experience was great some years ago and based off that, I decided to use them again with my most recent move. The move was set between 7−8am…I got a text the night before saying he need to be pushed back to 9:30am. No big deal. Well 9:30am turned into 10:30am which turned into 11:15am which turned into 12:30pm which actually turned into 12:58pm when they finally arrived. I called during those times and got excuse after excuse after excuse. When they finally arrived, 4 out of the 7 guys he «hired» to help move were under the age of 17 so the moving of the heavy items were on the other guys. After getting to the new place, the owner told me that my floor I was moving to was considered the 5^th floor and not the 4^th floor and that normally he would charge more but since he was late, he would just eat it. Really? The city inspector came out and said that if it was considered the 5^th floor then there had to be an elevator in the building which it is not. Just be careful if you choose to use them. And if you do, make sure your entire day is free because there is no telling what time you will actually get moved.
