Kinsella Landscaping

It pains me to even give these folks one star. My townhome contracted them to do snow removal. This winter I’ve so far had to clear and salt the sidewalk, stairs, and deck leading to our front door. Providing incomplete snow removal services for Chicago’s fifth largest snow storm on record, my neighbors and I have been notified that our building will no longer be using their services. I’m still trying to figure out what services those are exactly because there has been a lack thereof for most of the season. And if how they handled snow removal for a 19.3 inch producing snowstorm is any testament to the quality of their work, you’re better off waiting for the snow and ice to be melted by the sun which responds faster.

I completely agree with the last reviewer… they do NOT return phone calls to prospective new clients! I called them FOUR times within a month. I called them a couple times a year before that over the last couple of years. Why would I keep trying? Because their work is OUTSTANDING. I live in a complex that they service and I wanted to get a bid from them for my job. Never a phone call back. They must not want any more customers.

I wish I could tell you what kind of work they do, but they could not be bothered to call me back! I called numerous times, even spoke to David Kinsella (owner?) who promised someone would call me back by end of business the next day. I’m glad I didn’t hold my breath waiting for the call!

I worked with Patrick Murphy from Kinsella.
He was very courteous and knowledgable!
At first, I thought they were located too far away to do work in the city, but it turns out they they work here all the time! They even installed landscaping where the mayor lives :-)
Patrick is very thorough and the company is fair in their pricing.
