I’m not a big fan of using travel agents. I’m more of a do it yourself girl and I feel like I can usually get just as good a deal myself.
But for an upcoming trip to Vegas (work for me), my husband and I needed to travel out together and back on different days. Since my ticket was paid for by my company, I was able to have it directly billed to them, saving me the trouble of paying for it out of pocket and waiting to be reimbursed. Rather than try to then buy my husban’s ticket and try to coordinate with mine, I just emailed the agent my credit card information and she did all the work — for a $ 20 fee.
For basic travel I wouldn’t use an agent, but if you are looking for an agent to handle bookings for a large office, or you have a more involved trip, this is a great agency. The agent I worked with was wonderful and allowed me to do everything over email. I told her what I was looking for and she quickly came up with several options, took care of every detail down to the seat arrangements, and I had my ticket the next day.
