Lake Cook Reporting is a premier, experienced, and high-​quality court reporting and legal videography firm located in the Chicago area. We have two offices, our main office in north suburban Bannockburn (north of Deerfield and Lake Forest) and our second location in the Chicago Loop.

We employ experienced, efficient, and reliable court reporters and legal videographers. They are available for depositions, trials, arbitrations, meetings, hearings, and more.

We also provide deposition suites (free of charge in our offices when using our court reporters). Our Bannockburn location has several beautiful conference rooms, including a boardroom-​style conference room capable of seating 12 people. Our Chicago location has free to rent conference rooms provided by the building.

Established in 1994.

Lake Cook Reporting started in a home office in 1994, and since then it’s grown into a larger agency that hasn’t lost its personal touch. We’ve expanded our north suburban Chicago location while also opening a new Chicago Loop location.

Meet the Business Owner

Carla L.

Business Owner

Carla Letellier is the founder, owner, and senior court reporter at Lake-​Cook Reporting.

She founded the company in 1994 as one court reporter working out of a home office. The company is now an agency with over 30 reporters. In 2012, she and the business moved into a conference center with four rooms and video conferencing in Deerfield, Illinois.

As a licensed and registered professional court reporter, Carla has worked in the Chicago area for most of her career. As a 30-​year veteran of legal transcription and stenography, Carla has taken on a wide variety of complex assignments including patent litigation and medical expert testimony.

Carla has been a Certified Shorthand Reporter since 1988, a Registered Professional Reporter since 2011, and a Certified Livenote Reporter since 2010. Her agency maintains an affiliation with the NCRA and the ILCRA. Along with certifications and affiliations, the company maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
