I tried this place because I found a postcard like advert for a significant discount. After experiencing this place I now know why they need a discount. Poor service, they lose stuff. Quality is poor and the shirt I brought in to be spot cleaned now has another spot right next to it. I wanted the spot REMOVED, not cloned. So I gave up on the place after one visit, figuring it was best forgotten. But they wont let me forget. The next day I come out and there is another advert on my car. OK, slightly annoying. I drop off a letter on the way to the bus and adverts are taped to the post box and the tree next to the box. I walk to the bus and there are EIGHT of them posted on the bus stop. I come home and there are a bunch of them stuffed under the condo gate. For the last two weeks they have been papering my neighborhood with these damn cards. Light posts, trees, cars, bus stops, benches, fences. Gawd it’s like that psycho girlfriend I dated who kept showing up. If you guys read this review; «Quit Trashing My Neighborhood!!!» If I ever knew that you would act like this I NEVER would have brought my business over. Everyone, please don’t patronize this place. It’s like the neighbor who blasts disco at 3:00 in the morning that you just want to Go Away.

This business just moved to 1211 N. LaSalle and had a 30% off opening sale. Even though the 30% didn’t have any restrictions on it, I still only received it on the first visit. However, I brought in two silk blouses on the second visit with two small stains each. The blouses were to be ready on Saturday(I dropped them off a few days before). On Saturday, I went to pick up the blouses and after 10 minutes of searching, I was told they were not ready and were sent back to be redone. I couldn’t get a straight answer as to when they would be ready, but finally was told to come back on Tuesday(only after calling to see whether they were in fact ready). I came back on Tuesday to find the blouses with more stains on them than when I dropped them off originally. I was told that they were not responsible for the additional stains and made no promises about the first stains. After a 15 minute conversation about the current condition of the blouses, I asked for my money back, to which I was told only if I brought in more business and only if they tried for a third time and it didn’t work. Not having any more trust in this business, I pushed to get my money and blouses back to be taken somewhere else. The entire transaction was way more difficult than it needed to be given the amount of competition in the vicinity. The owner was too argumentative and difficult to work with. I will not be coming back.

ok. This is a review of over 3 months of using this place. The lady in there is sometimes pleasant, sometimes not. Who cares though, I just want my clothes dry cleaned correctly and on time. All the work done there was great. I even had a nice suit altered there to great satisfaction. The problem comes in with organization. EVERYTIME I came in to get my clothes(a couple days after they were due to be ready), she had a hard time finding them. Including that suit I had altered. In fact, it took her a WEEK to find it after I came in to claim it when it was due. That should have tipped me off. But the work done was fine and it’s close to my place. Mistake. Low and behold she lost a pair of my pants. And claims I never brought them in. Guess who’s not going back? Ever. With the amount of dry cleaning competition in Chicago I can’t imagine why anyone would tolerate such disorganization.

My new go to dry cleaners. Facility is nice, large, and clean. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Competitive prices and hours.
