Ladies at deli meat department at Laramie Bakery on Harlem and Belmont are so unfriendly and so not helpful! Would not recommend going here. They will ignore you and act like you are doing them a favor. At check out you will wait till they are done on their phone and no smile no nothing. Better off going to Montrose Deli. Always smiling always helpful.

It’s a bit disorganized and the signage isn’t great, but make this your go-to stop on Paczki Day. The strawberry cheese is my favorite, but they are all good! The bakery has assorted cookies and pastries, all at reasonable prices. The store also has a selection of European candies. Parking is very easy – they have a small lot plus there’s street parking nearby. Come for the paczki. Stay for more paczki.

Before buying your food here, make sure to check if it’s still fresh. I stop by the bakery to get paczki(donuts). I went to my car and noticed they don’t look like they usually do. I tried one and it was as hard as a rock. I took them back and asked the lady at the counter to exchange them, and she said they were all«the same». I could tell that the ones in front of the glass display were fresh however. She was simply trying to sell the older ones from back!!! VERYUNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Ok first time in the store and presentation could be better but omg the deli area with the different selection of items an their prices it definitely a hidden gem an the fact that at 3 in the afternoon there still baking fresh bread and stocking their shelf with it is awesome the only thing their high on the little bit of produce they have that the reason for the lack of star an the cashiers a bit rude.

I am very impressed with this new adition to my neighborhood. It is one of only a selevt few Euro grocery stores in the neighborhood. Prices are a little high on some items, but .992 lb loves of homemade rye bread, and deli specials. I love this store for it’s convenience. It opens at 5am on weekdays and is great for the local economy.

What a great stop. I decided on some Corned Beef, Ham, Swiss and of course RYE Bread encrusted with onions! Throw on some Krakus mustard and blueberry muffins and you have a meal. I was not all that impressed with the poppy seed coffee cake but I was probably spoiled rotten longing for the one I got from Kaufman’s Deli in Skokie.
