I worked with Laszlo and his colleague Jeff. Found both to be highly competent and personable. My project was a master suite addition which included many changes. But every change was met with patience and a quick response. I appreciated this, knowing Laszlo’s practice has been growing nicely and he and his team concurrently had much bigger commercial projects in their pipeline as well.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, work with Laszlo Simovic Architects, Olive Tree Development, or the Lochert Company.
They built our new home in Logan Square and have been completely unresponsive and unprofessional. There is a huge leak in the basement of our new home that they have been completely unwilling to repair.
There are PLENTY of high-​quality, experienced, and professional developers, builders, and contractors in the Chicagoland area. PLEASE do not use any of the aforementioned firms.
