Business Owner
Tom started his career in finance as a trader in the Chicago trading pits. After 6 years, he left the floor to start a high frequency trading firm. During that time, he became very involved in building trading software. Tom saw other businesses miss growth opportunities because of their lack of technology knowledge.
In 2012 he started LaunchPad Lab a software development consultancy to help those businesses.
Among other areas, LaunchPad Lab devotes much of their time to building technology in the HealthTech space. Tom is specifically interested in building technology that speeds up the time it takes for cancer researchers find a cure for cancer.
