Specialties

We offer psychoeducational evaluation and neuropsychological evaluation for students with learning disabilities, gifted students, students with ADHD, anxiety and/​or depression. We also offer remediation for oral language, reading, writing and mathematics

We prepare for high stakes test, teach test taking skills, and «study skills» i.e. executive functioning.

We also offer therapy for children, adolescents and general family counseling.

History

Established in 1988.

Starting with preparation for high stakes testing in high school and college admissions, Learning Diagnostics has grown to a staff of seven graduate and post-​graduate therapists with training and experience in LD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.

Cherie L.

Manager

Dr. Cherie Laaperi grew up in Boston, MA and attended an independent school, where she graduated as valedictorian. Following a BA in history and education, she taught for 20 years in Glen Ellyn District 41, completed an MA, Ph. D, and post doctoral work in Leadership, Learning Disabilities, and Gifted Education. She has two adult children.
