Legal Helpers – Bankruptcy

This place sucks. They don’t help you resolve your debt. They stall and by the time they get to your account, it’s TOO late.
Specifically, a representative by the name of Nashwa is by far one of the rudest women I have ever dealt with. I don’t know who she thinks she is. She is extremely aggressive me speaks in a condescending manner.

Went to Legal Helpers for advice on filing a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Will regret it for the next 4 years.
Basically this place is a bankruptcy mill. My intake person took all my info and then painted me a rosy (and inaccurate) picture of what a Chapter 13 would look like for me. Being uneducated on Chapter 13s, I believed what I was told when in reality it was a sales pitch to get me to sign up.
Once I began the process I quickly learned that I had a different lawyer assigned to my case every few days. And when you call, you are NEVER allowed to talk to said Lawyer du jour. You have to speak to some paralegal who acts as a middleman to get questions answered.
Once it was over and my bankruptcy finalized, I’m in MUCH worse shape than I would have been had I not filed. I literally scramble every month to pay my payments to the court and I find I struggle to come up with enough money for groceries… forget luxuries like seeing a dentist or getting an eye exam. The court takes every penny you have, period.
So, while I assume some responsibility for not knowing more about the process in advance, I feel Legal Helpers roped me in with unrealistic chatter about how great this would be for me, when there was never a chance it would go down how they presented it. Again, had I known then what I know now, I would have pursued other options.
