Sadly, the owner of this store is retiring and it will be closing either at the beginning or end of March.

I have lived down the street from Leo’s for years and I went in for the first time two weeks ago. I wanted to see if they had essential oils and they did! Not only that, their prices were extremely reasonable.
I went in today to purchase a Neti Pot and two more oils. I also noticed they have natural foods and snacks. They also have cod liver oil, another supplement I use. The prices for everything were easily comparable to any drug or grocery store you would go to. I would highly recommend this place as the «Natural» mecca of the North Park/​Albany Park neighborhood. I’m definitely going here before I go to Whole Foods.

Love this place. It’s a perfect neighborhood store. They mainly carry herbs, vitamins and medicinal foods, herbs and tea but also have juice, some grocery staples shampoo, lotion and lip balm etc. The owner is super knowledgable and warm. A great selection of vitamins and supplements

Leo Naturals is a beckon of hope for good health in the North Park community. Typically, LNs have a plethora of mineral and vitman options. And if they don’t, just ask and they can get it in an an reasonable time. The ONLY issue is the cost, which cab add up quickly if you’re a min/​vit buff as I am.

Cool neighborhood place to get supplements from. They have a good number of items on hand. Prices comparable to larger shops. Excellent customer service! A North Park gem!

The hours are a bit challenging for me, but I love what they have packed in this tiny shop (which is a lot).
Correction, my sunburned Boyfriend loves what they have, but being a guy, he will do anything to avoid shopping… even suffering a painful scarlet, peeling, sunburn.
Leo Naturals has a few things to soothe sunburn that I had no idea existed– for instance: Aloe Vera Soap (very soothing and gentle), 100% Aloe and 100% Cocoa Butter creams, Cocoa Butter Scrub (okay, that was purchased for me) and Rosewater (also purchased for me, but I notice the bottle a little depleted post purchase…) all a million times better than the overpriced, alcohol based products with artificial dyes and ingredients that make up most of the so-​called «aloe» product at your standard drugstore.
I can’t help but think that the moisturizing properties will also be beneficial in cold winter months soon to come… will keep you updated. They have Kiss My Face, Queen Helene, Alba… all those lovely beauty brands that sell for so much more at Whole Foods.
I also bought Cedar essential oil (which you can make a mild cleaner with: mix the oil, vinegar and tap water in a spray bottle. Spritz liberally, swab the walls of your closet for a good smell and this keeps bugs out of your closet. The vinegar smell fades leaving the rich woodsy cedar smell– kinda sexy). I know, genius, right?
Leo Naturals also sells Coca-​Cola, so you can caffeinate yourself to compensate for all the good stuff you you are buying for body and home.

Ahhhh! I love the feeling of supporting local small businesses.
Every two weeks when I visit Leo for my herbal and supplement needs. The owner is very helpful. He is always letting my know abut the differences of A brand or a discount he just placed on a item. The store is well stocked as prior post suggest and I find majority of my needs here. Leo also has great prices with usually two cost options for many products I purchase. They do open a little later, I think 10 am and close about 6 pm, so take to visit on a lunch break or right after work. I like this place so much, I try hard to avoid Walgreen’s or CVS for my herbal and supplement needs. I love Leo’s !

Great store! Great inventory!- Don’t let the small sales floor fool you. It’s a one stop shop with the wide selection of heath food items such snacks, drinks, and supplements. There’s wide selection of beauty care products for your skin and hair as well. The owners are very helpful. They are very knowledgable about herbs– he provides recommendations/​suggestions. Don’t be shy with any questions.

Don’t let the cruddy, cluttered window turn you off: this is a great little store, with organic snacks, herbal remedies, vitamins, beauty supplies, essential oils. The owner found me everything on my list minus one, and is ordering that one item for me. He even had other recommendations for me. Good prices. Open everyday except Sunday, 9:30 — 6:30.

I love Leo’s. The owner (I refer to him as Leo but I don’t think that’s really his name…) is super nice and always helpful. He can always find me what I’m looking for. They are suprisingly well stocked and much CHEAPER than your chain stores. I buy things here that I’ve bought at Whole Foods for $ 5-​$ 10 dollars more. Definately check it out. They’ve been around forever and I hope they stay around for a long time to come.
