New ring created from old earrings.
I had old fashioned diamond earrings that lay in my jewelry box for many years — not my style.
Victor did an excellent job in transforming my old earrings into a modern beautiful ring. Highly recommend.

This is my first Unilocal review… I had to do one for Victor. I had a broken vintage bangle bracelet with the prettiest piece of turquoise. I had it repaired by another jeweler and it broke again. I wanted to get the part of the bracelet soldered onto a new bangle to still be able to wear the turquoise. I asked my husband to have this done as my Christmas present, but he went to several jewelers who told him it could not be done. I decided to try one more place– Lincoln Park Gems, and Victor made it happen! I am so in love with his work!
I also went back to him to convert two pairs of earrings from posts to magnetic. He had never done this work, but was up for the challenge. Again, impeccable work!
On top of his workmanship, his prices were unbeatable as well.

I had a few pieces of jewelry in need of different repairs. I received excellent service and everything turned out great! The prices are reasonable and I will definitely be coming here again in the future.

This place is quite a gem itself! My fiancé and I were discussing engagement rings and decided to go to a few places to look at some ideas. We ended up stopping here because it was close to home and I am so happy that we did. Viktor is wonderful! He answered every question I had (and I have quite a few) and was very patient with me. He was not trying to upsell me on things he was genuinely there to help me. My fiancé chose Viktor to design and make my engagement ring and it is STUNNING! Viktor did an amazing job listening to me describe what I had in mind for my engagement ring. It is exactly what I envisioned. Also, he has repaired my fiancé’s watch on a few occasions and has been very good at helping us with whatever we need. We are so happy with Viktor and his service that we will be purchasing our wedding rings from Lincoln Park Gems also. I cannot wait! Anyone who lives in Lincoln Park or the surrounding area should have Viktor as their jeweler– I highly doubt they would be disappointed.

Victor is incredible. I brought my engagement ring here for a resizing and appraisal – I showed up 2 mins before closing (6) and yet he was super happy to let me in. He showed me parts of my diamond that would help differentiate it from a fake. He eased any worries I had about leaving it behind. He even helped me better understand how to clean and care for it. I think I spent half an hr (when he was supposed to be closed) with him just getting a better understanding of my ring – and he didn’t even make it! I picked it up 2 days after dropping it off and it was perfectly done. He ran one of tests he showed me previously so I knew it was my diamond – he remembered how concerned I was. Definitely coming back for wedding bands (he does gorgeous custom bands), any future jewelry questions/​needs/​repairs, and I already referred him to my sis and her fiancée for their wedding bands. You won’t be disappointed. This is a really trustworthy place.

This place is awesome! I feel like a jerk, I didn’t get their names, but the pretty lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. Not mention the jeweler that was so awesome fixing my Hawaiian bracelet to fit my huge hand! He made it bigger and didn’t ruin the engraving, and it was a great price! There was engraving on the inside and outside of the bracelet, and it came out looking awesome!!! They said it could take up to five days, I think it was done in two days. My boyfriend and I are so happy. They also have a beautiful selection of jewelry in their cases

My mother passed away a year ago. I wanted to have a ring made that would remind me of her. Victor was not only compassionate but creative in making a ring in her honor. He was just wonderful. The communication he had with me on ensuring that I got just the right one for me was wonderful. I brought my sister with one day and she created her memorable ring with Victor. I just can’t say enough about my experience with Victor at Lincoln Park gems. I now have a trusted jeweler. Thank you Victor for being so patient with us.

Do you have a jewelry box full of things that you don’t, or can’t wear? I did, but not any more.
I found Victor more than two years ago, and he custom-​made my engagement ring for my fiancé and me. We both still love it, but that’s not what I’m writing about.
Since that time in 2013, I’ve been taking things to him for repair. Recently I was given a number of clip earrings, old vintage things, etc… Frankly, some of the things I’d never wear — and the clip earrings I couldn’t wear. They hurt too much.
Artistically, and economically, Victor has changed what used to be jewelry box fillers into things I love. For instance, my mom left me some enamel earrings with real gemstones. He took out the gemstones and turned them into inside/​out hoop earrings — for far less than it would have cost me to buy earrings like that outright.
Victor even gave me a credit for the gold that was leftover from removing the earring clip parts. And, one of the earrings lost a small diamond, which he didn’t notice, and when I pointed it out, he replaced it immediately, without any questions or charge. I’m just so grateful I found this place.

I have rave reviews of this shop in Lincoln Park! Not only is it super close to my apartment, but Victor was a pleasure to interact with when I took my engagement ring in for repairs. There was no wait, Victor really listened to what I needed for the repair and he helped my fiancé choose the size, type and style wedding band he will wear.
My repair was done in two hours and Victor even cleaned my ring — which is now sparkling, repaired and beautiful. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a repair as well as a new jewelry purchase. I wish we would have known about this shop when searching for engagement rings — I’m sure it would have been the same experience then. Great find!

I had an antique bracelet in need of simple repair, with a quick turnaround, because I wanted to wear it to a party. Other shops put me off: they had salespeople but no jeweler on premises til the next week. Viktor at Lincoln Park Gems responded quickly to my request, and made the small repair within a few hours. It was so minor he didn’t want to charge me! The shop has many interesting pieces — necklaces and rings — that he has found at estates. A gem of a shop.

The staff at Lincoln Park Gems is very knowledgable & friendly. I came in with a bag of my mom’s jewelry that needed repair & they were able to fix everything in no time, for a very reasonable price.

Victor was great! This place makes custom high end jewelry at incredible prices! They have some cool stuff on display, but they can also create whatever you have in mind.
I gave my wife an old family engagement ring and we were able to bring it in and have Victor craft a custom wedding band to match it. The work was done within about a week, the final product was just what we hoped for, and the price was remarkably affordable, especially when compared to the quotes we received from a few other jewelers in the area. We also have some former jewelers in the family, who vouched for the quality of the diamonds and craftsmanship.
I have since been back and had some other jewelry designed for a Valentines day gift and I was impressed again. If you are smart, you will go here before you buy that pre-​made ring from a chain retailer. I recommend bringing them some pictures of the designs you like and let this place work their magic.

Victor is very knowledgeable and can create custom-​made engagement rings and design settings, jewelry, and cuff links — and he does everything in-​house so you are not paying for a middle man! He has done valuations for family heirlooms, diamonds, pearls, emeralds for my family. He can duplicate lost earrings, fix/​change ring sizing, fix watches, and create new pieces out of existing jewelry.
Victor is the BEST! I highly reccommend.
