Ordered a Carrier inducer motor online. Best price around and one of the only places that sold the motor alone for about $ 110 with shipping. Everyone else only sells the whole assembly for $ 300.
Part arrived in a few days as expected. I would definitely use them again.

Ordered stove part online ¹¹⁄₂₈. Paid for priority mail. ¹²⁄₈ still no part, and online tracking shows only pre-​shipment info sent. When you pay extra for priority shipping, that doesn’t mean the company holds onto shipping the product for over a week, then you wait another 2 – 3 days. It means the customer wants the product ASAP! I had sent an email a few days prior to ask if it shipped, and they never responded. So I call the 1 – 800 number… sounds like a one person operation to me. I get barely a hello on the phone… someone clearly not up to the part of customer service duties. Says he’s going to call USPS and track it for me and call me back in a half hr. Never called back. That night I see it’s suddenly been shipped. Me thinks it was sitting somewhere until I called. Extremely unprofessional company. I owned a business prior, and business 101 is that customer service is EVERYTHING. That is how you keep customers coming back… even if you have less than stellar prices. Apparently a lot of companies don’t get that these days. They’re just clueless. Now here’s hoping I even get the right item in the mail!

Get the total price with tax, shipping and whatever else they will add if you just walk in and buy something. I’m sure these repair guys get good pricing, but the random guy off the street will pay dearly. I call in and they had the best price. I go and it’s a generic part, ok, then he rings me up and it’s double the phone price! What? Oh, we have to add shipping and handling costs to this! Major rip-​off, be careful!

Seller sent me a motor with the label removed, no manufacturer name, no model number or serial number. Electrical plug did not match my existing motor. When, I enquired, they told me to splice my plug to their unit. Obviously, had I done so, there would be no warranty on the motor. When asked to return the motor, there was no further response from them. I had to dispute my purchase through my credit card company. Will not deal with this seller again.

I had wretched, nasty experience with this company. They tried to rip my off twice, first with clearly deceptive and misleading advertising, then a nasty 40% restocking fee, then to add insult to injury I was laughed at and insulted when I called for an explanation. I was called a «fucking retard,» then told to «never call here again» and hung up on. I filed a complaint and I did get my money back along with the cost of return shipping. I then filed a complaint with the AG in California for fraud. The Internet used to be called the wild-​wild-​west (www) when it was overrun by deceptive companies like this, it saddens me to see companies like this are still out there trying to rip people off. Beware it appears they rebrand themselves online to avoid their negative reputation, on Amazon they sell as Parts Appliance Chicago as a fulfillment for Filters Now. The chickens are coming home to roost. Stay clear.

I needed a (ridiculously expensive) replacement part for my frigidaire refrigerator. Everywhere (Sears, etc) had it listed at $ 90 – 115 plus S&H. After figuring out the appropriate parts number, I was able to get it for the best price online with Midwest Appliance Parts. Since I don’t live in Chicago, it was going to be online no matter what for me. Paid what I expected for the fridge shelf frame, and even was able to get 5% off my order with a coupon, helping a bit with S&H.
Part arrived right after the weekend, was a perfect match (as in the photos), and I was set to go. Only this time, I’m going to be careful not to overload the shelf that also supports the vegetable drawers so I won’t have to replace it in the future (I hope!).

I needed to replace the console on our range oven. Found a great price on a reburbished to new part online and called into them to make sure that it was available. Customer service was easily some of the best of experienced. They not only confirmed that the part was availbale but alos advised that I would need the display film with the buttons on it, which they also had in stock. Overall a top notch experience with great value. I will buy from them again.

Ordered a part online to fix our dishwasher. Price was good, part was listed as «in stock» and I paid for priority mail. Next day, status marked as «shipped». One week later — no part. So, I called. Turns out — part was back ordered and «shipped» doesn’t mean shipped to me, it means shipped to them from another warehouse. So — maybe I’ll get it in four more days.
I asked if they could expedite since it was listed as «in stock» and I paid for priority shipping. Nope. They claimed to have emailed me that the part was back ordered, but there is no such email. I have all of the other emails concerning the order, so it’s hard to believe that somehow the electrons of that particular email didn’t make it through. So — one star for poor service, inaccurate in-​stock status, making up an email to CYA, and not putting the customer first.

This is by far the worst company I have ever ordered from online. I ordered a replacement coffee pot for my Kenmore Elite. The picture they have shown does NOT match what actually came. I paid $ 9.79 for the actual pot and $ 14.00 something for shipping. They do not include a return label for you so I had to soend another $ 14.00 to send it back. Now I’m out a total of $ 40.00 for absolutely nothing!
Read the fine lines on their site people — and order somewhere elese! What a headache!

Ordered a part online to do a self-​repair on our gas hot water heater. They had the part I needed, shipped it the next day after I ordered it (ordered on Sunday) and I received the part quickly and got it installed. Probably saved me hundreds of dollars over having someone come out and do it for us. Would definitely use again!

Right part, OEM, lowest price, on time. Can’t beat it.

These guys were great. brought in an inducer motor I had recently purchased thinking it was blown. they offered to replace but first tested/​it was fine. He then mentioned it’s probably the «Pressure Switch» and showed me what it looked like. I came back with the switch and although they didn’t have the exact match, the owner found one that he said would work. I had my furnace cranking in 20 mins for less than $ 40! And avoided getting fleeced by Four Seasons. get dat did

Good purchase. FedEx pissed me off! I was tracking part. Saw it just sitting there! Called fedex to ask why. Was told it was too quick! And we weren’t suppose to get it that fast! We didn’t pay to get it that fast. As it sat less than a mile from my home! Asked if I could come get it. No!
But good job getting that part out to me as fast as they did. Part was right. That was my biggest fear. Washer works like a charm now!

Ordering on the web site was easy and the item arrived within a reasonable amount of time (thus the 2 stars). However, I ordered a brand new GE temperature control and instead I was sent an obviously used, dirty, (marked with ink and dirt) temperature control that was placed in a bag and «resealed» to look new. I ended up disputing the transaction with PayPal in order to get my money back and i had to ship the item back which was an inconvenience to say the least. How is it these people are still in business?

It was convenient going here to get a part for my washer even though they opened a bit later (like 10 mins) than the posted time. They had the part for about $ 13 online when I checked their website and at the store they charged about $ 10 more but I expected it would be so because it said online that the store prices are different. So its an ok place to get parts when you need them fast (like I did — was down to my last pair of clean underwear) but if you can wait a few days, it’s probably best to order online

So far not so good. Called them on January 18^th 2014 and spoke with someone in regards to a certain part. They stated they had it in stock and that if ordered today to make sure to pay and ask for UPS shipping and I would receive by January 22^nd. So I ordered the parts and received a confirmation email but my email did not have a tracking number. I’ve never dealt with a company that didn’t provide any type of tracking info on an order, even if the email came later on. Their email stated to call within 48 hours for tracking info. I called them yesterday because I had not received anything yet and when I asked for tracking number they stated that the item had been shipped from the Manufacturer. Why would it need to be shipped from Frigidaire if you originally stated that you had the item I need in stock at your facilities? Furthermore the attitude of the guy I spoke to really rubbed me the wrong way. On top of that he states that he had not received a tracking number yet and that I need to call the next day. Well I called back TODAY and spoke with someone (not the same person from yesterday) and they stated that it would not be going out until TODAY (January 24^th) and that it had been drop shipment from the manufacturer. Why would it be drop shipment from the manufacturer when I was informed yesterday that it was being shipped from the manufacturer directly? But then before that I was told you had the part in stock at your facilities? It’s just another lie on top of another lie. So I finally received a tracking number this time and hope I will receive my parts this Monday. The only plus out of this so far has been the pricing of the parts, beyond that it’s been down hill.
*UPDATE* On Monday (Jan. 27^th) the delivery is made and I inform my parents that the package has been dropped off. My dad checks it out and informs me that the wrong item had been mailed. I had requested some Range Shafts and we instead receive a water valve for a fridge. I was pissed off and immediately called the company and after being transferred about 3 times I finally was able to speak to someone by the name of Bill. I can honestly say Bill was the only saving grace with this whole transaction. He apologized for the mixed up and assured me I would have my correct order by tomorrow afternoon. He called me again to apologize and informed me he would email me the tracking number info. So on Tuesday (Jan. 28^th) the correct item was delivered by 12:45pm. My father informed me that the correct item did come and their range was back to being fully functional. So to Bill I say THANK YOU for assistance. I greatly appreciate it.

I’ve used these guys a bunch when I lived in the city and never reviewed them, shame on me! They are a local business and they HAVE what you need so forget the Nationwide chains!!!
Always quick, professional, knowledgeable and the prices are ALWAYS FAIR!!! To all these guys claiming something was way cheaper to find online, I have done my own price comparisons with these guys and they are legit!!!

RIP OFF
These guys are a RIP OFF. After advertising a part online for $ 63 they charged me $ 99 at their store. They wouldn’t change it saying online prices applied to the website only and «that’s the way the Internet works.» They said I could order it there and have it shipped from their warehouse. Well, yes… that’s the way the Internet worked about 10 years ago. And it’s certainly not what I expect from a local business.

Extremely shady pricing practices!
I needed a motor for a furnace so I looked online. Midwest appliance parts had the part listed for $ 115. I needed the part quickly so I wanted to call and make sure they had it in stock before I ordered it online.
The guy I talked to on the phone kept asking for the model number of the furnace the motor came off of. So I gave him the model number — all the while thinking it was strange he kept asking me for the model number of the furnace to look up the correct motor when I already knew what motor I needed.
The guy then gets back on the phone and tells me they have the motor and it’s $ 299. I told the guy they had it listed online for $ 115. He then started doing a bunch of «ummms» and «uhhhs». Then he got rude with me and told me that they have different prices for customers who walk into the store than they do for online customers.
I went to a different website and bought the motor. I have no tolerance for companies who try to pull that kind of garbage.
