Midwest Fertility Center was founded in 1984 by Dr. Amos Madanes, a renowned Reproductive Endocrinologist — board certified in both OB/​GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology. Offices for your convenience are located in Downers Grove, Naperville, Chicago and N.W. Indiana.

Amos E. Madanes, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Amos Madanes, director of the Midwest Fertility Center, has been helping couples overcome infertility problems since 1979. He is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist, one of the few in Illinois.

Dr. Madanes is well known as an innovator in the field. Through his work at the Midwest Fertility Center, he has been a leader in recognizing the importance of considering each patient’s total needs — emotional as well as physical — and providing them a supportive environment in which to obtain care. In addition, Dr. Madanes has pioneered a number of new procedures, including a non-​surgical intra-​tubal insemination technique that often proves helpful for men who have a low sperm count.

Previously, Dr. Madanes held many prestigious positions, including Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at Loyola University in Maywood, Chief of Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago,
