If I could give this place less than 1 star I would because they lied to me on the phone. I ordered online, and after waiting 40 minutes, I got concerned. Just to be sure they got my order, I followed up by phone. The guy said«Oh yes, it’s in the oven now.» Then someone called me a few minutes later to say that they were out of mushrooms and it would take even longer for them to go to the store and buy some. So what happened to it being in the oven now? I was annoyed that they had lied to me, but agreed to wait. When the pizza finally arrived, the guy was apologetic and gave me a free liter of Pepsi in an attempt to make up for the problems. We don’t drink soda pop, but it was a nice gesture anyway. The pizza was OK. Too many other places to choose from than to deal with bad service and liars.

One of the best places in the city to get a slice of pizza!!! That is not paper thin and greasy! Ughhhh, I so love this place, you can NEVER go wrong. Unless they ran out of slices lol I’ve only actually ordered a pizza twice; its was pretty good too.

Delicious pizza at an affordable price! I love their thick crust pizza, but the thin crust is good too. Quick service. Great place for lunch.

The service is not only bad(as other say below) but dishonest. I ordered two pizzas online, but when I got to the store they were closed(sign said there were electrical issues). No problem, these kinds of things happen. But when I called a few days later to get my credit card refunded for the charge, I got the complete runaround. I got a number of excuses whenever I called: either the manager was busy(but when I would call back hours later he was still busy) or they would just put me on hold and never pick up. One time, I asked to speak to the manager and the guy on the line told me there was no manager for the shift. I finally enlisted my credit card company to help me get this resolved. When I called back minutes later with my credit card company on the line, the guy said HE was the manager and it turns out that he had lied to me earlier because he didn’t want to deal with my problem. My credit card company helped me get the refund. But, it shouldn’t have gotten to that point. This business is clearly not interested in taking care of customers and if you run into a problem, do not expect it be handled honestly.

I like eating here. The pizza slices are always fresh because the business is booming so chances are if there arent slices out its because someone just took the last; youll be getting it right out the oven. Prices are reasonable and customer service is normal. I eat here on my lunch breaks occasionally. I would recommend to others.

Pizza is very good but their service is pretty awful. A few times going in they didn’t have any pizza ready at opening. Another time they couldn’t get the pilot light on the oven, grill, etc working. I once talked to a guy who said he was waiting for over a half hour for a sandwich, people working there seemed like they could care less. Like I said, good pizza but bad service.

I love coming here for their pizza by the slice. Their pizza slices are $ 2.49 per slice. Great deal. They’re cheaper than Reggio’s Pizza as far as pizza by the slice. I especially love the pepperoni slices and the cheese slices.

Being one of the few restaurants that is around the IIT campus, it is the best option for me. It offers deep dish pizza by the slice, chicken tenders, etc. The pizza is okay– nothing special. However, like the saying goes, «Beggars can’t be choosers.»

Ordered right before delivery stopped for the night. Got a call 5 minutes later that the kitchen was closing & they couldn’t make anything AND that they were sending their delivery guy home for the night AND there was ‘no alfredo sauce anyway.’ So 3 excuses for why they didn’t feel like taking my order. If you’re not open you’re not open, but at least get the hours right. Guy on the phone was unapologetic & annoyed that I even tried to order. Would’ve been my first order from them, but that’s just not going to happen. Then Seamless calls to ask why I called and cancelled my order, guy said it was because they were out of sauce & I just didn’t want the food. So he lied, as if no one would figure that one out. Told customer service & she was surprised & offered to refund my order. I would hope I’d at the very least get a refund… Will not be attempting to order from this place again.

Although my pizza arrived about 40 mins before I was told(a BIG plus), I was very displeased with the taste and even the look of the pizza. I ordered a very simple sausage pizza, they put minimal amounts of sausage on the pie. The cheese had hardly any flavor. The sauce was about and inch and a half to two inches from the crust to where the cheese began. The tomato sauce tasted like tomato paste. I had to wipe off some of the sauce just to prevent it from dripping off my pizza. I usually order from places I am familiar with and I am guaranties a delicious pie. But, in this case I ran across a few coupons in the mail and decided to give another place a chance. Big mistake! Needless to say, I would never order from them again. I’ll stick to their competitors.

We live in their building and love their by the slice pizza, it’s a good medium between deep dish and normal crust. It’s 2.49 a slice which is pretty reasonable. The crust is nice and thick and they seem to have slices available almost all the time. However, if they don’t have any, it could be a long wait… Can’t comment on delivery and anything else as all I ever get is a slice of pizza and possibly a drink. They also don’t have a bathroom so you’ll have to go to Starbucks next door.

Would not recommend. Food quality is not great(think frozen heat-up style), it takes forever to be served(if you don’t call ahead, consider going somewhere else), and the chicken wings have feathers still attached to the meat. Gross. Not to mention most menu items are overpriced, probably due to the vicinity of Sox park.

I can’t comment on the speed of their service because I only ever order pizza they have in the display. But their pizza really does hit the spot and it’s definitely filling – though admittedly really greasy and salty. haha, a guilty pleasure. The place always looks a little crumby, unfortunately. But maybe that’s part of their charm?

I was attending a conference at the Illinois Institute of Technology, which is only a short walk away, when I decided to get some classic Chicago pizza. While the employees are nice, their service is ridiculously slow. As long as I was not in a hurry, I was very pleased with the service. As for the pizza, I fell in love! I had their pizza for both lunch and dinner, two days in a row, and I never got tired of it. I know that sounds kind of like over-kill, but I do not know when I’m going to be back in Chicago, so I figured I should take advantage of it while I was there.

Oh my. They are unbelievably slow. They once told me it would take and hour and a half to cook pasta! Another time it took fifty minutes to get pasta. I don’t know how this is physically possible. The only thing that is available is the pizza that really isn’t very good.

The only reason I am giving this restaurant a 3-star review is because of the staff. They tend to be really rude and sometimes will sit on the phone while they should be working talking to their friends. However, I keep seeing reviews on how horrible the food is and how horrible delivery is. I cannot speak for those as I have only tried the Pizza and have never gotten anything delivered. I always get pizza slices in the store and they are quite delicious and fresh. However, make sure you bring hand sanitizer if you want to wash your hands as they don’t offer their restroom to the public.

i ordered a chicken salad and paid almost 7 dollars for it. after she gave me the receipt she said it would take 12 minutes. I thought to myself, «hmmmm that would have been nice to know before i bought it but its fine… i’ll wait.» i waited 30 minutes for a chicken salad. oh and they didn’t have any forks so i had to see if anyone had one at my job when i went back to work. i sit at my desk, open the container and guess what the chicken breast i waited 30 minutes for was not on my salad. never again NEVER again will i go there. i dont care how good their pizza is and really though the pizza is okay at best… the crust is thick and dry… ugh.

Food took a while for delivery but its Saturday night and snowy out so that was expected. I’m really sad about the fact that the pizza was horrible though. I’ve been fighting with my boyfriend about trying out this place and how we should give it a chance. Now… I hate admitting that he was right! We just wasted $ 30. We ordered the deep dish and its not cooked all the way thru! Crust is still doughy. It’s inedible. Garlic bread is cold and hard. Salad was fine. I don’t think I’ll order from here again.

The pizza slices are good but a little expensive for that location. Don’t skip this just based off the name because they carry a variety of food stuff and not just pizzas. I personally love their Philly Chicken. The downside is the service/food preparation can sometimes be slow so make sure you call in ahead of time if you are doing a pick-up. Also during peak hours there is not enough room or tables to sit down and eat so you might have to resort to just doing a pick-up. Come down and say Hi to their friendly staff if you are down there for a Sox game, at IIT or in the Bronzeville/Bridgeport area.

Stopped in the other day and ordered 2 slices of the«deep dish» sausage & pepperoni. Although they call it deep dish, it’s more like the middle weight pizza sold at Connie’s. Deep dish usually means a lot of cheese. This has the same amount of cheese you’d expect on a thin crust pizza, but the crust is thicker. Kinda doughy, but not bad by any means. $ 5 for 2 slices, I’m not complaining. They have a few tables and chairs, but I’d suggest taking your food to-go because it’s not a big place. Service is fast and the cashier is polite. Customer service is a big plus, especially in the hood.
