Fine food and spirits in the Chicago Loop
History
Established in 1969.
Monk’s Pub derived its name from a historic monastery where, as a boy, the owner resided one summer. So impressed with his stay, he thought to himself if I ever own a public house, I’m going to call it Monk’s! May of 1978, his boyhood dream became a reality when he acquired a public house in Chicago called Monk’s Pub.
