Though Mughul supplies all around Chicagoland and the suburbs, there’s just something about going directly to the source. Not only are there fresh goodies being made hourly, the selection is vast and delicious. Coming from a family that owns bakeries in Hyderabad, the Usmania Biscuit has a very special place in my heart. Mughul’s version of Usmania comes pretty close to it. Buttery, namkeen, and airy– just the way it’s supposed to be. If not for anything, please stop by for a crème roll to go with that tahoora chai. Today I was recommended by the friendly man behind the counter to try the new biscotti item– can’t wait to get home and crack open that package!

Very good bakery products that bring back the tastes of Hyderabad. Cookie products are fairly fresh, and made in the back of the store. Very good selection for diabetic patients as well! One of my fav’s, Osmania Biscuits w/Indian chai is great. I also recommend the Almond Biscuits. A bit hard to find on the street, but once you do… you will keep coming back.

It is a the only indo/pak pastry place that I am aware of in Chicago. I am not sure where the Mexican bakery comparison comes into place. There are Mexicans working in the back but awesome indo/pak bakery. Recommendations Usmania Biscuits Cream Rolls Assorted cake pastries
