I took a suite that I had just bought to these guys, never worn, tags and everything still on it. They told me I could pick it up on Friday. I come back Friday afternoon, two days later, and the lady goes, «You bought this from Macy’s? This is no good!» I’m like what? Why are you commenting on the quality of my suite?
Turns out they pressed it with too much heat and melted the fabric around the jacket’s upper button. Not only that, but she was adamant that I had brought the suite to them that way! As in I bought a new suite and did not notice it was ruined right in the front!
After a LONG and very painful (she spoke very little English) conversation, I told her that I’ll take the suite back to Macy’s, if they take it, they take it, if not, you’re taking it. Thankfully they did and I didn’t have to deal with these shady people again.
Moral of the story, do yourself a favor, do not take your stuff here.

Pro: cleaning of shirts and pants was successful
Cons: — Price was outrageous for laundering shirts
— Attitude of workers was poor and they don’t speak English
Result: I won’t be back

RUDE!!!
I took a dress here for alterations… I just wanted to have the bottom hem taken up. After the man pinned up the front & was seemingly finished, I asked him if he wanted to pin the back of the dress as well. He told me that the back didn’t need to be pinned. I explained that I have always had the front AND the back pinned when having something taken up, as the person altering the clothing doesn’t know how big or small you are on the back. The man became irritated with me & told me that the seamstress has been doing this for 20 years. Against my better judgment, I left the dress with him.
When I returned to pick the dress up it was near closing time, so I paid for it without trying it on – BIG MISTAKE!!! When I tried it on at home, the FRONT of the dress looked great (exactly as he had pinned it), but the BACK was so short that I couldn’t bend over without exposing myself. I brought the dress back immediately & tried to explain that it was entirely too short in the back, & the man started arguing with me about how it had been altered correctly. I asked him to let me try it on to show him, but he just continued to argue. He did not want to redo it, because that would have meant that he had made a mistake.
In summary, I paid almost $ 30 to have a dress hemmed so short that I couldn’t wear it & have a RUDE man argue with me over why I was wrong for wanting my dress at a wearable length. I paid someone else to try to fix the dress, but it was ruined as it had small holes where the hem had to be let out. After working customer service for almost 10 years, this whole experience was disappointing to say the least.

It only takes one negative incident to turn you off from a dry cleaners. I have been going here for several years with zero complaints. The last time I picked up 2 sweaters and a skirt, I brought it home and tried on one of the sweaters – it smelled like the café next door (Little Branch Café)!! I thought this was strange because the café has been there for a few years and I never had an issue.
I immediately brought the clothes back and asked for a re-​do, which she agreed to, although she said she couldn’t detect the smell (perhaps because it always smells like the café – there is no door or glass separation between the café and cleaners). When I picked up a week and half later, the clothes still smelled like grease and I’m guessing the clothes were not re-​cleaned. I really used to like this cleaners, but I’m not going back.

Iniitially took a suit BACK that they had messed up the cleaing on. I went to pick it up only to find that they wanted to charge $ 8.50 to re clean it. I had never even worn it. Went back and complained, called and complained no results. Went back during the day during the week, and spoke with another clerk who did the right thing and did not charge me for the re-​do. It’s just too bad that it took three tries to get it right. So we will continue to use them
