No response in trying to schedule my service. I have to wonder if they are even still in business?

I attempted to contact this service multiple times via phone and email for trips to and from the airport about a month prior to a trip. After receiving no response via either phone or email, I tried calling again. Finally, someone did pick up the phone one morning. They took down the information and I asked for a reservation number or confirmation, the person said, «Oh, I have it in the books.» I repeated do you have a confirmation number and was told no. This was for two trips — one to and one from the airport. I accepted that that was their business practice and thought little of it — the day before departure, I even received a confirmation call with the correct time and address. (Saved on my voicemail still). So, 45 minutes late for departure day, and after trying to reach them for 40 minutes with no answer and no answering service, I Ubered. Über managed to get me there in 36 minutes and I caught the flight. My Personalized never showed and never called, until the day before I was to return from my trip. They called to confirm my flight number and estimated arrival. I played along and went to the pick-​up area when my flight arrived. To no one’s surprise, they did not show for this pick-​up either and no one was answering their phone.
I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone unless you want them to be late or miss a flight.

OK, did fine with this company for about 4 trips. This time, no go. The guy who took my reservation would not send an email confirmation, although I asked both on the phone and by email. Had 4:30 a.m. pickup scheduled for 11/​08, no show, no call. Took a cab.
Sent an email from my destination. No reply. This place is sinking fast. I’m gone, and I recommend you avoid them, too.

Got 2 deals from Living Social for a roundtrip ride to/​from ORD. The ride there was GREAT! Our driver, Mike, was excellent. On time, and a great guy. It is only because of this that I am giving 2 stars.
However, they were a NO SHOW for the return trip. Nothing like coming home from vacation and being stranded at the airport. Their phone number is nothing but voicemail, so multiple calls, emails, and facebook messages went un-​answered. It is now 2 days later as I write this and I still have not received a call back. Obviously I had to arrange other transportation home, and I will be giving them the bill for reimbursement. Not sure how far that will go, but I’m definitely going to try.
After 3 days now of calls and emails, I have heard nothing back. I have requested a refund from Living Social, so at least I’ll get that back. A complaint has also been filed with the BBB, but they can’t help me recoup any kind of reimbursement since I did not actually pay the company for any services. So here I am, and hopefully this review will be of help to some people. If you just need to get picked up from your house or something, I would consider them. Airport pickup… NO WAY!

Serves me right for not reading reviews before trying the company for the first time. What business always has a full voice mailbox, making it impossible for clients to reach anyone since no one answers the phone ever? Thank goodness for LivingSocial’s refund policy. Don’t waste your time. I called almost every other day for two weeks – no one ever picked up and the mailbox was always full. I assume they’re already out of business!

Undue stress. I’ve had 2 successful experiences. They were early and very polite. This (today) would’ve been my third but not only did they not show up, they’re not answering the phone. Huge fail. Never again. Time is very important to me, especially when I have to catch a flight. Luckily, American Coach Limosine was able to come pick me up on short notice. So I may be using them from now on.

We purchased the Groupon for a ride to the airport — DON’T!
We had an email confirmation from 6÷17÷2014 for today, July 21, 2014 at 9:20AM. We had a very nice discussion with the operator at that time and they returned my call promptly. Today– no answer. We kept calling and had to leave messages and sent emails, but by 9:45AM no sign of them. We took a taxi instead. Groupon still is listing them — Groupon is not credible if it continues to sell this service.

I got scammed, I wish I read the reviews here before purchasing a voucher through Living Social. :-(
I left detailed e-​mail Monday night about 4 days prior to reservation request for me and wife to the Airport. Then followed up Tuesday afternoon after not hearing from them all day! My red flag should have been not getting calls returned or practically ever getting through to speak with this company.
When finally got through the following day, she said that she was just replying to email and will send me a full confirmation later that night which occured.
I printed out everything, we were all packed and ready to go. I wasn’t thinking I had to call the morning of, for I had to see patients all day before heading home to leave for airport. 5 minutes before and 5 min after reserv time came and went. Me and wife called like 6 times tryna get update on driver’s progress. The responder said that «they never had my reservation», which put both me and wife on 10, since I printed on confirmation of reservation the prior day! Then she further replies that she found my reservation moments later.
This is totally unacceptable. PERIOD! They have NO PROFESSIONALISM, OR RESPECT FOR OTHERS’ TIME! AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST!

The lady taking the reservation was distracted and rude. The pick up to the airport was fine, no problems. When we returned, I called to see where our car was, the same lady told me that our car had left. I explained to her our flight was on-​time and asked why they left. She said she tried calling us, but couldn’t reach us. Well, no kidding, we were on an airplane! Her reason for them leaving was they were unable to track our flight. I looked on our email confirmation from them and the information was correct. She was rude and offered no solution to the problem. Basically, she told us too bad.
I will never use this service again. If you like to play a game of will the car show up or not, go ahead and use this service.

I’ve now had 6 successful drives. My most recent 2 drives i had Derek as my driver. Very pleased with him. He arrived on time (even though my address is hard to find), he did call me 5 minutes before hand since he was unable to locate my house (not even the UPS driver can), so at least he made the effort to communicate with me, which resolved everything. i told him how to get to my house and he was there in 2 minutes.
He arrived on time both at my house and within 10 minutes of my calling him from the airport. my flight arrived 40 mins late, but i gave them my flight number when booking, and i believe they keep track of flight numbers. Initially I called them when i got to baggage claim and i left a message, but within 5 mins they did call me back to confirm that I was at my gate with luggage in hand.
The driver arrived on time, put luggage in car, and got me to destination safely and quickly. I will absolutely use this company again.

I purchased a Living Social for this company as I use car service a good amount to get to the airport. I was going to a bachelor party and booked a 4AM pickup going to O’Hare a good amount of time prior to the actual date. The person I talked to while booking the reservation seemed distracted and was very rude. She did confirm the 4am pickup and I agreed to pay extra as I was 1 mile out of their zone and it was an early pickup time. She said that she would email a confirmation and call to confirm as well. I never got either which should have been my first warning sign. I was getting the bachelor to the airport for our flight, so had a little responsibility on my hands. We were ready to go at 3:45 as limo’s usually get to the location early. We waited until 4:15 until I started getting very nervous. I called the company and left a voicemail. I didn’t hear anything back so I called the company 3 more times. No escalation point, no one answered, nothing. So without many other choices, the bachelor and I jumped in my car and we hustled to the airport. If it wasn’t for a delayed flight, we would have missed the flight.
I never received a call back from the company apologizing or explaining. When I got back from the trip, I called again to complain and talk with someone. I left another message and never received a call back. The kicker of all this is they had the audacity to redeem my Living Social certificate and charge me for the Non Ride. Luckily Living Social helped me out right away and credited my credit card for the full amount. I would be surprised if this company is going to be in business in more than 6 months.

and scheduled a pick up a week before my trip. I was sent a confirmation for my ride. Needless to say, NO CALL, NO SHOW!!! I called them to see where my driver was but no one answered! And called again but still no answer. I left a couple of messages. NOTHING!!! We finally couldn’t wait any longer and ended up having to drive ourselves to the airport. Parked our car in the airport lot for a week and had to pay the daily fee! Oh, and all this with a baby! So, thank you very much for ruining that part of our trip! And you’re welcome for this review! You actually deserve more like 0 stars.

I purchased a Groupon for this service. Made the reservation a few days in advance and received a confirmation email. The day of my trip my driver was to pick me up at 11:00am and ended up being 15min late picking me up, saying he read the text wrong, said he thought it was 11:30. I called the company at 11:05 after not hearing from the a driver. 5 min later the driver called back. The car also REEKS of cigarette smoke. If you’re thinking of hiring this car service to impress a client, DON’T! I’m not impressed and wary of using the second groupon.
UPDATE:
Sent an email to complain about the service and never received a reply. Very telling. I told Groupon about my bad experience and they not only refunded my unused ride, but gave me a bonus credit for my troubles. THAT is customer service, not what I experienced with this company.

I’ve used this service about half a dozen times over the last four years.
As it has been explained to me, by drivers for the company, this is a business that contracts out rides to drivers who own their own vehicles and are looking to make some money. This creates disparity in the vehicles. I’ve personally ridden in luxurious town cars and Mercedes SUVs AND marginal sedans and Chevy SUVs. There seems no rhyme or reason on what car you get other than the driver’s schedules. I’ve never been able to book the same driver twice despite having two favorites that I always request. As you can imagine, the professionalism and vehicle amenities vary– some have copies of the Times, and Tribune, bottled drinks and mints– others are driven by people wearing ridiculous ball caps.

I used a Living Social deal for a ride to Midway last week and had a wonderful experience with MPC. I booked it about 10 days ahead of time on the phone and promptly received an email confirmation. The day of the ride, the MPC office called me because my driver was running a little bit late due to rain, and asked if my flight was delayed at all. I hadn’t checked yet, but their call reminded me to do so and sure enough, the flight was also delayed. The office coordinated between me and the driver to make sure that I would still arrive at the airport on time.
My driver arrived exactly as promised after the readjustment, and he was wonderful! I cannot say enough nice things about Mike. He was professional, friendly, and an excellent driver. We had great conversation on the way to the airport.
The car had a large, luxurious interior and rode smoothly, very unlike most cab rides in Chicago.
Even with the Living Social deal, I had to pay an additional $ 20 for taxes and mandatory gratuity, but it was well worth it to me. (The total ended up being about the same as a cab ride would have cost, but was much more pleasant.)
I will definitely use them again.

Well, I am happy to report that MPC came through again. I had a 5 a.m. pickup to Midway last week. I am not exactly sure why I keep booking these insanely early flights, and after reading the recent reviews, I was somewhat nervous as I waited for the driver.
No worry was needed. The driver arrived a few minutes early and called to let me know he was downstairs. He quickly loaded my bags into a clean sedan. Bottled water was waiting for me. I was door to gate in under an hour. That’s a near record from Lakeview to MDW. I am horrible with names as I noted in my previous review but it should be said that, like the other drivers, this guy was exceptionally nice.
Until/​unless something crazy happens and I am left pathetically waiting at the curb, I will continue to use MPC for all my airport transportation (or until I get a boyfriend who loves me enough to drag his ass out of bed at 5 a.m. for all of my airport runs).

Overall it was fine. I purchased a living social deal thinking that it might not work out.
Our lady showed up on time in an older car, but overall… not terrible.
There’s lots of hidden cost but it was still cheaper than a regular taxi to O’hare.

This company just did the unthinkable! This company left the bride and groom stranded on their wedding day! I paid for the services complete with tip one month in advance and they were no show with NO communication! This is the worst scam I have experienced from a company which has shown no remorse!
The car was confirmed in writing one month before the wedding. I also called them to confirm the details for a 7 p.m. pickup. As you have read through multiple reviews, I too followed the same process. I started calling repeatedly around 6:50 until 8 p.m. I received the voicemail each time and no one ever called back nor answered the phone.
I am tired of businesses stealing and mistreating customers thus I am moving forth with filing a small claims lawsuit.

Buyer beware: like others here, we booked a limo through a voucher (Amazon, I think) to take us to O’Hare at 6 am today. The driver was a no-​show, and the phone number listed on the order confirmation only begins answering at 8 am, so we were unable to get a hold of anyone to find out if or when our limo was coming.
I left several voicemails this morning, none of which have been returned (it’s now almost 3 pm). I called and asked to speak with a manager, who is apparently now gone for the day. I emailed as well, requesting a response today, but I am not hopeful.
Bottom line: Don’t book a car through this site if you want to actually get where you’re going.

Can I give negative stars?
Our driver never showed. I called the company and left voicemails. I also sent an email. Two weeks later, I have yet to receive a response. Two weeks later, I’m still angry about the situation.
