If you’re forgiving. I’ve been going to this place for a few years now(just once or twice per) and will say it’s not the most professional or best designed place you’ll ever walk into but the customer service has never been dissatisfying and the prices are helpful. There are definitely much more experienced florists in Chicago who also design and arrange better but if your floral recipients don’t have highly discerning tastes, then this place will be just fine. Vases: Not the best selection, but they’re not horrible to look at and they’ll do. Flowers: Actually pretty good. I’ve been to several florists in Chicago and, yes, there are times when you shop at a very fancy florist only to receive non-immaculate flowers. I think many of us believe the more we pay, the better the product will be but flowers are flowers and a rose is *just* a rose. The one thing I definitely don’t like though is the wrapping paper/plastic they use. It tends to get real cheap sometimes. *And* they don’t have those plastic water capsules that you see other florists place at the bottom of the stems. Arrangements: You’ll definitely find better in Chicago but the staff here sometimes makes some really nice ones. If you’re looking for something that won’t let you down, it might be better to visit here and pick out something that’s already been put together but I wouldn’t necessarily place an order and then get my hopes up that it’s going to be stunning. Store Interior: Definitely low expense. But the staff is friendly, courteous, and they do try. WARNING: They spray their flowers with a fragrant aerosol, even the roses. I always have to remember to tell them to NOT do that. Why they insist? idk. Perhaps it’s the clientele they’re used to, maybe it’s a south side thing.
