Nate helped my wife and I find a wonderful town home in Chicago. He was very helpful throughout the entire process and always answered all of our questions. It was reassuring to know we had someone looking out for our best interest. I would recommend Nate to anyone looking to purchase a home.

Nate was absolutely amazing during the entire process of buying our condo in Logan Square. We were first time home buyers, and he walked us through each step of the process. He found the condo we ended up buying through another agent at his firm, which meant we had a chance to check it out before it hit the MLS. Although the condo was slightly different than what we initially had in mind, Nate sent us the link anyway so we would have the opportunity to say yes or no to seeing it. I’m really glad he did — Nate being super proactive led us to be able to quickly see the property, make an offer, and settle on final terms in just a few days. We are grateful Nate worked on our behalf so diligently during the search for our first home!

We were first time home-​buyers and Nate made the entire process enjoyable and easy for us. He made a large effort in making sure to show us homes that included everything we were looking for. His honesty and knowledge of the housing market was very much welcomed through the whole process. If we had questions at any time, he was easy to get hold of and his replies were always quick. Nate helped us out all the way through the process until we had the keys in our hands. He is great to work with!

Nate Buttrey was more than just a real estate agent during our house finding process. He became part of our family. We spent the better part of a year searching for a home and Nate was always patient and encouraging with us. We were pretty stressed out at how long it took and how we would always find things about a house we didn’t’ like. But Nate always encouraged us saying, «The right one is out there and this just isn’t it!» He was constantly positive and that type of posture was needed. I would also like to say that through the year we got the opportunity to meet a lot of other agents. I was floored at how many out there seemed to not really care about their jobs! They were often late and often had an attitude of complacency, which I really couldn’t understand given that their job was to «sell» a house! Nate is the complete opposite of this. The dude is a serious go-​getter. After working with him, you can see that his drive isn’t from money, it’s from seeing his clients in a home. That’s truly unique in this world and as a husband and father of two, I could rest in his intentions. (The bottle of Vueve at closing was also a big plus) We love you Nate and we love our new home!

Nate was a great choice to help me puchase my first condo in Chicago. I was currently living in the suburbs, so Nate would arrange several showings on a Saturday, which made it easy. He was always on time and quick to reply to my emails. When I finally found the one, Nate negotiated down the sales price and we were quickly under contact. The closing went off without a hitch and Nate was there when I got my keys. He made buying my first place as stress-​free as possible!

Nate just helped my wife and I complete the purchase of a home and we couldn’t be happier. He is an incredibly gifted realtor who is always honest and an absolute pleasure to work with. This is our second time working with Nate and definitely will not be our last.

Working with Nate for our home purchase was a wonderful experience. He was prompt, professional, and thorough. He was helpful, with great answers to questions. He set up showings for us with an amazing turnaround time. He learned to anticipate what we wanted in a home before we even knew them.

Let me start by saying I found Nate randomly by searching Unilocal for realtors who focus on the Lincoln park/​lakeview/​north side of Chicago area. His positive reviews led myself and my boyfriend to contact him on a whim. As first time home buyers, we were quite uninformed and naïve about the whole process.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Nate. Right off the bat, Nate was professional, honest, upfront, and attentive. He shared a presentation with us to inform us about the process, and listened exactly to what we wanted in our search for our first home. He is extremely quick to answer emails and and phone calls. Often, if we found a property we were interested in, we would be able to schedule a viewing that evening or the next day. He is extremely organized and accessible. Never once did he make us feel pressured or uncomfortable, and he was very helpful in walking us through the process of searching for a home.
Nate goes beyond being a good realtor. He is a good person. My boyfriend and I quickly bonded with Nate and enjoyed our sometimes long afternoons of marathon viewings. He made the potentially exhausting process fun and relieved a lot of our stress.
When we were finally ready to bid on a property, Nate was quick to act. Unfortunately, the seller’s agency was shady and did not disclose that the property was already under contract with a contingency. Although we were disappointed, I think Nate was actually more upset than we were. This just goes to show how seriously he takes his job and how much he cares about his clients.
Luckily, we literally decided to bid on a different property the next day. Nate was a swift negotiator and was accurate in his prediction of what we would actually get the property for. I am 100% sure he was acting in our best interests and trust him completely.
My boyfriend and I are so pleased that we randomly met Nate and got to work with him. We highly recommend him and are confident that he can help any variety of clients find the perfect home or apartment for their needs. Thanks Nate!

Nate is fantastic and truly a pleasure to work with. Nate helped me find my first home and was with me from start to finish at the closing table. I can be a very over bearing person but, Nate was always understanding, flexible, and patient with me. He was also great to bounce ideas off of and strategize with.
Nate goes out of his way to help his clients find their new homes, be it renting or buying, and does it happily. After the close, Nate even stopped by to see the place and help me address some issues that needed fixing.

Nate is fantastic! He is patient, asks amazingly smart questions, and pays attention. Extremely professional and so good what at he does: part realtor, part therapist. He knows the stress of finding a proper home and goes out of his way to make it as painless as possible. Within 20 minutes of our first phone conversation, I had ½ dozen places in my email box to look at. Within a day, he picked me up in his car, and we were looking at places. The first one — a two bedroom condo — was the place of my dreams. I think I actually squealed. Since then I have recommended him to friends and colleagues. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, Nate’s my first phone call.

Great guy! Super friendly! I’m sure he is up to his eyes in clients but has a way of making you feel like you are his top priority. Was always willing to answer my needy questions and drove all over town to help me find my perfect two bedroom. If you are looking for a painless process from start to finish, Nate is who I’d recommend to my friends.

If you’re looking for a place to live in Chicago, call Nate! I recently moved to Chicago from a much smaller town, so I wasn’t familiar with what to expect when looking for a place in a big city. I was referred to Nate by a friend of mine, and I’m very glad I gave him a call. He is very professional, yet he makes you feel like you’re getting help from a friend who knows Chicago very well. He’s very informative, but not pushy, and he makes sure to understand your specific needs and then helps you find just the right place. I highly recommend Nate to anyone looking for a place in the Chicago area.

I highly recommend Nate as a leasing agent. He worked with me to put together a great round of listings for viewing. When we found the right place and discovered the other leasing agent made some errors in the listing, he negotiated a lower rent to account for the fact parking was not included. Even though Nate’s job was done, when I moved in and the place did not conform to the terms of the lease, Nate once again engaged with the other leasing agent to make things right. I will be using Nate’s services again this year when I move into a bigger place.
