Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology

I suppose I should have known that this place was a joke when I walked into the creepy basement reception area with photo-​shopped pictures of a woman shaking Obama’s hand framed on the walls. Having no experience with registering for a skills course before, I didn’t know what to expect and thought that just must be how these places were. Here’s my story:
I signed up to take a course here that was supposed to start at the beginning of June. They pushed it back a week, and I didn’t think much of it. When I asked about it they assured me that it the class would take place by the end of June, which was the last time that I could start a class and still be able to finish before the regular school year started.
They pushed the class back again and again, and it just never ended up happening! I wasted the whole summer waiting for them to start the class when I could have looked for a course elsewhere. Now I am stuck taking the course I wanted to take during the summer on the weekends, on top of working and working on my pre-​med degree full time at a university!
I understand if they did not have enough people signed up to start a class, but don’t assure me that it will start when you are not sure!
On top of this promise that they never fulfilled, I asked for a refund of my down payment ($ 350) at the end of July. I told them that I needed it ASAP in order to use the money to register for a different course. They told me that they would have it back to me in 2 weeks. It is now almost September and I have still not seen my refund! I have called the institute multiple times with no answer, and emailed with no answer.
This institute is a FRAUD, do not sign up! I have never had such an awful experience with a school in my life. Shame on you Northwestern!

This school is a FRAUD. Jenita Julian, CEO took my sister-in-law’s loan money even after she cancelled her loan. My sister-​in-​law paid her tuition out of pocket and was under the impression that her loan had been canceled. The school utilized the loan and is now avoiding to take responsibility. You will get caught as we have records of everything. Good luck getting away with this one. Please stay away from this school and get your education elsewhere!

I am a student again at the age of 50!
And. I do so Love Northwestern Institute of Health
and Technology and it’s staff.
I have re-​evaluated my life and decided that I wanted
something better for myself and my future.
So. I am back in School!
Northwestern is a smaller school and you can tell
that many others have walked their halls.
And now I am walking their halls. I Love it!
I love that my class has only about 10 students and I
have the greatest Teacher ever.Dr. Lucano, a Doctor
here at Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago.
I had to buy books today which cost me $ 132.50.
and that kindda took my breath away. But in a nice way!
Today was my first class and it was Awesome.
I think I learned alot and I have Homework already!
And. I love the fact that this school is 3 blocks from my apartment.
I can walk there and get my cardio in.
This is a good thing because I have been busy and have’nt
had much L.A. Fitness time.
Going tomorrow though.
So. to Luz in admissions and my great teacher Dr. Lucano

I am really excited about this new chapter in my life.
Now. I just need a really good man to sweeten the pot.:)
