Best tacos i’ve ever had in my life & that says alot about the neighborhood that’s loaded with lots of taco joints. I would go back every week if I had the chance. If you’re around midway airport and need a quick bite, you definitely need to stop by.

Since moving from TX, I’ve been on the hunt for some great tacos and I’m so glad to have stumbled across Paco’s Tacos. The place is well kept, staff is friendly and offers an intimate environment where you can watch them prepare your tacos. I’ve tried the carnitas, carne asada, barbacoa, pollo and al pastor tacos and they’re all great! The horchata is tasty too! The green sauce is in the freezer and is a must try! Will happily return to satisfy my taco fix

These tacos are amazing! The four stars are for their food, and how fast your food is ready. The only downside about this place is that the cashier is very very rude. Not only does she give mean looks, but she also makes faces when you ask her for something. She always gives out an bad attitude and doesn’t seem to enjoy being there. The other cashiers are nice, but the older ladies are very rude.

I always find it funny when people ask me, «who do you think has the best tacos in chicago!?» I mean, c’mon dawg, i’m half mexican so you already knowwwww the best tacos in the Chi are at my momma’s crib! No, but really. However, when my parents aren’t cooking, I like to smash out at Paco’s. I’m not from out south so when Big Robby Valentino, my ace squid, put me on my life was truly changed. The meat is cooked right in front of you by a dude who looks like he could be my uncle and the tortillas come out steaming, heated up on the same greasy grill the meat was cooking on. I like the spot because it’s extremely fast and to the point. The tacos come to your table within the same few minutes that you ordered, topped with nothing besides cebolla AND cilantro. For those who don’t know, cebolla AND cilantro to the taco game is like mustard and relish to the hot dog world — the only acceptable additional ingredient on classic tacos outside these two is DEF avocado and MAYBE cheese or sour cream, but they’re not really needed.

BESTSTEAKTACOSINTHECITY. That’s basically all you need to know. This is a very low key place. Don’t expect any frills. Just order your tacos and shove them in your face after adding a good squeeze of their green sauce. Be warned they are HUGE. I always get two and have a hard time finishing the second but of course I force myself to because they’re fucking delicious. I also add cheese because I am a white girl after all. Also, don’t be afraid of the guy basically blocking the doorway playing his guitar. I guess he’s a a staple at this place because he is always there, rain or shine.

Oh Yeah! Let me assure you that this is a good spot for some tacos. I’ve been to the Pulaski location a few times, but this was my first time at the Archer location and I wasn’t disappointed! I ordered 3 tacos(Barbacoa, Chicharron, Carnitas) with onion and cilantro. Tacos were about $ 2.50 each and piled high with delicious, flavorful meat! While there were plenty of seats available to eat in, I decided to enjoy them back at home and were still very much warm by the time I ate them. The place was easy to find, the service was quick and I was very happy that they do accept credit/debit cards, since I hardly ever carry cash on me.

I haven’t eaten here in years due to me living on the North side of Chicago, but this is my favorite taco spot when I’m in the south side. Very very good tacos.

*4.5 stars Authentic Mexican in the heart of a Mexican neighborhood. I will definitely be returning to Paco’s. We tried a bunch of different tacos and my favorites were carnitas, pastor, and carne asada, in that order. The carnitas definitely make the top of my taco list; juicy chicken with a spicy, flavorful sauce. The pastor was also excellent; Seasoned well and topped with fresh cilantro and onions. Not to mention two different salsas you can add on top! Do yourself a favor and go here!

Tacos are good and stuffed with a lot of meat and all of your fixins. Definitely worth the money for the amount of taco you get. I did enjoy the tacos, but nothing beats Atotonilco on 47th. I love the selection of chicharron they have up front.

My favorite taco spot and its a 2 minute walk from my house which makes me proud to say that this place is in my neighborhood. The asada is seasoned well and they are very generous with their meat when ordering. Try a taco de chicharron(chicharron in a red salsa) or barbacoa, very tasty as well. This is the place to come on a sunday morning to pick up carnitas and chicharron for brunch. Ive yet to taste a place that sells carnitas better than here. Although it can get pack here the line moves very fast. The ladies behind the counter are very sweet and friendly. only cons: they close early as 9pm they don’t serve homemade juice like horchata, jamaica, or lemonade. however they still have a large selection of soda and almost every jarrito flavor

I was next store getting a fade for my son and we got hungry. I got the chicken torta for my son and a steak and 3 lengua tacos with a side a grilled jalepenos for me. Amazing! The greatest thing about this place is the generous portion sizes. And the green sauce gets your mouth oh fiyah!

Pacos Tacos is pretty darn delicious! The tacos aren’t the cheapest I’ve seen, but the price isn’t really so bad considering how much meat you get on these suckers! I had the lengua, barbacoa, chicharron and al pastor. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, I couldn’t really figure out which was which, except the chicharron, which is the choice I highly recommend. It’s soooo flavorful! The others weren’t bad, but they didn’t stand out in flavor enough to even know which was which. But they were filling and delicious, and about $ 12 for 4 tacos, not too bad I suppose. I’ve always seen this sign in my neighborhood, but never had the gumption to try it till recently, and I’m glad I did. I will be returning to get my taco on!
