Galena and Oksanna are without a doubt the best massage therapist and esthetician I have encountered. The spa may not be a 5 star spa like some of the reviewers mention here, but you will get the best service ever. I have been a return customer for years now, and they never disappoint. Thank you for your awesome service!

I get massages quite often where I live — maybe every 6 weeks or so. I was in town and googled this salon and I am so glad I did! Best massage I HAVEEVERHAD! Spa pedicure was wonderful too and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Do yourself a favor and get in here!

I came here with a groupon for a 60 minute hot stone massage. Making an appointment was pretty easy — I just sent an email and received a response within hours. They were completely booked on the Saturday I wanted to visit, but I was offered a number of alternative weekdays. I picked a day and time and received a confirmation email the next day. The place is a bit difficult to find — it’s on the first floor of a very large apartment complex. It’s near the leasing office, by the main entrance, just down from the corporate center. I entered and was greeted pretty quickly. I said I was scheduled for a massage and they asked me to take a seat. No problem — I was early. I looked around, and got a little nervous. The spa/salon wasn’t very luxurious. The walls were a pale pink with what seemed to be painted wooden letters spelling out«SPA» hanging on the wall. The front part of the salon had a few chairs for haircuts. As you head to the back, you pass the mani/pedi stations. I didn’t see where the massage would take place. Right at my appointment time, Galina called me back. She’s is the owner and I think the only massage therapist. She told me she offered the groupon to help bring in business, as she knew it was a difficult place to find and attract customers. She told me that she accepted medical insurance for massages, and that if you bought a package, the massages ended up being $ 45 a piece. She brought me to this tiny room in the back of the salon — it was just big enough for a massage table and a little room on each side to talk around it. She told me to undress, get on the table, and she’d be back. I did as she said and she came back in a few minutes. I was comfortable, and she explained she’d give a regular massage and incorporate hot stones. Sounded good to me. A few minutes into the massage, she asked me to excuse her. She opened the door to the room and told one of her employees something about scheduling, basically that the woman’s appointment would be late and she had time to give a manicure. I thought it was weird, since she opened the door as I was laying on the table and anyone in the next room would have been able to see me. I was a bit annoyed, but it was just a quick exchange, and she started the massage again. Only a few minutes later, the same thing happened — she opened the door and told her employees something else. Galina apologized, saying the girl was new, but still, I was a little uncomfortable. The rest of the massage was without incident — it didn’t happen again. However, although there was relaxing music playing in the massage room, it didn’t block out the sounds from the mani/pedis happening a few feet away. I could hear whole conversation between customers and nail techs, so it took away some of the relaxing element. The massage itself was good. Galina applied a good amount of pressure and really worked on my muscles. The hot stones after the massage of each body part felt really good. The heat really made the massage a lot better. I left feeling relaxed and my muscles felt great. So the pros: great massage, reasonable prices The cons: a little bit unprofessional, not a very luxurious atmosphere I would go back though, as Galina did a great job on the massage.

I typically go to the larger name spas so I was a little skeptical going to more of a local spa. I am glad I went against my normal routine and to try Pavilion Spa out. I called around to a few local spas and when I asked for appointments they all stated they were booked and just hung up. When I called Pavilion they worked with me on time and really fought to earn my business. The salon owner, Galina, met me at the front door to show me to the salon and introduce her team to me. Overall, the customer service she showed me was outstanding. Oxiana did the facial and she was hands down the best esthetician I have ever gone to. She explained the product and addressed the concerns I had. Overall, I would recommend this salon for its customer service, affordable price, and knowledgeable staff. It also feels good knowing I am spending my money to support businesses in the community rather than just another chain company

I’m a little torn if I should give 3 or 4 stars… So will give them the benefit of 4. I was here 2 times for a pre natal(pregnancy) massage. Galena gave the massages(not sure if anyone else does there). The massage is very affordable — $ 60 for about an hour, however, I am not sure how truly versed she is in prenatal massage as there were some things that were different from other(4+) such massages I’ve had elsewhere(although she may give a number of them). The good: — she really got into my back, and relieved a lot of the tension and pain I was having — uses a very nice lavender oil The questionable: — she rubbed my belly/baby… No one else has done that to me; didn’t really seem to do anything– felt a little weird — every other prenatal massage I’ve had gave me a ton of pillows for comfort, surrounding most of my body, between my knees, etc, to make lying on my side more comfortable… Not the case here — just on the table with a small pillow where someone lying on their back would bend at the knees — she had me on my back too long. I get there are some things that are better administered when you are on your back, but I ended up focusing on trying to breathe instead of enjoying the massage. She did give me some extra pillows so I could elevate my head to her credit when I asked(but i would think that anyone claiming to be versed in prenatal massage would have just avoided having the client on her back) The not so good– –This place is in the back of a hair and nail salon– although there is soothing music in the background, the loud polish chatter from the front is very distracting –the room is also the waxing room so really smells like wax –the first time I went the room was FREEZiNG — would have been solved simply with a space heater…2nd time was not as bad, but still cold. I’d go back bc of price and location I suppose, probably would not go out of my way to travel here though.

I have been to this salon several times and it has just gotten worse and worse. I made an appointment earlier in the week for a haircut for me and an eyelash tint for my mom. I showed up today for my appointment and called because I couldn’t get in the building(as usual, the place is a maze and I seem to have to go in a new door every time) to ask how to get in this time. They told me they had no record of my appointment and the girl who would have been doing it was already gone. This place is supposed to close at 8pm not 6pm! Why is their person already gone? This is not the first time this has happened. It’s always something. If they do have my appointment, the right person isn’t in or they’re not going to be able to do all my services. This place is so disorganized it’s not even funny but every time something went wrong someone had a sob story that got me to come back. Not this time. Avoid this place.

This is my go-to spa. It’s very reasonably priced. I started going there because I was new to town and in a pinch and needed a masseuse. Galina is an AMAZING massage therapist. I always leave there feeling 100 times better. She goes above and beyond, even coming in at 7 pm on her day off when I explained that I had a bad kink in my neck, such that I couldn’t turn my head. As usual, left feeling so much better. Also, Lubna(spelling? she’s Moroccan) gives great manis/pedis and is a phenomenally good hairdresser, not to mention she’s a very nice woman. She cuts my two toddler boys’ hair better than anyone I’ve ever taken them to. She is thorough and very fast when she needs to be(like with kids!), and they come out looking dapper. In reading other reviews, I agree, the décor is dated and it is a bit basement-like. However, the women that work there are pleasant, skilled professionals, and I would go to a back alley if it meant having them provide services to me, especially for the very reasonable prices at which they offer services.

Horrible horrible horrible. I called 2 weeks in advance and made a 10:30 am appointment for a pedicure(I was getting married the following day). I arrived at 10:20am and there was a sign on the door«be back at 11am). I waited till after 10:30am before I left. Got a call at 10:45am. Called back and the woman said«ya you were supposed to be here at 10:30.» I replied«i was. You weren’t. There was a sign on the door that said be back at 11 and I waited till after 10:30» her reply was«so’»…SO!!! Excuse me! So? I called and did my duties, why couldn’t you do yours? I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE!

I really like this spa. As far as facials go Oksana is wonderful. she is not afraid to get in there and do all of your extractions and she uses some great products that smell wonderful! I went to Oksana right before my wedding and she did an awesome job… My skin was glowing! I did have a massage with Galina, and it was pretty good, nice and firm… However her nails were long and did scratch me a bit. But I will say that even in spite of the scratching I left there feeling like butter, my muscles were nice and loose and I was totally relaxed. The only thing that brings this place down to four stars is the salon itself. Its almost like a basement, but having said that their prices are very reasonable and it is an enjoyable experience overall with very skilled staff.

Really great spot with exceptional service and very reasonable prices. Had a wonderful facial with Oksana(? spelling) and a massage with Galina. Being there was like being amongst family and friends, I really enjoyed the experience. Products used are very high quality as well. Must try!

This is a wonder salon and spa on the far northwest side of Chicago. Galena, the masseuse, is absolutely great. Vaska, the hair stylist has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 3 years now and always does a wonderful job. They are a full service spa and salon and do manicure/pedicures, waxing, facials and many other services. The prices are very reasonable for the fine quality of service you receive. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I went to Pavilion with a group of girls for a friend’s birthday party. They had the best prices she found for all the different services she was looking for to accomodate all of us(group of 6). The tricky part of this salon is finding it. It’s actually inside an apartment complex, in their«mall,» down the hall from their leasing office and pool. And if you call, you may not always get a live person(which is annoying when you’re driving around the block trying to figure out where it is). Being on a budget, I opted for just a full body massage, which was not«just» a massage. It was fabulous. Galina is very knowledgeable. She can do lymphatic drainage for swelling and had this cool suction cup technique, as well. While I didn’t have the other services, my friends who had the facials were glowing when they were done. And the manis and pedis looked great. I won’t be driving out from Naperville on a regular basis, although Galina was wonderful(and I already have my fav massage therapist). But if I was living in the area, I might be a regular.

This is my go to spa. Both my husband and I love the massages performed by Galina — massage therapist and owner. I also go to Oxsana for facials, waxing, manicure and pedicure. She is very very good. I like her a lot! After you become a loyal customer she will drop the prices for you. They also do eyebrow threading, cut and color! I highly recommend this place to everybody that lives in the O’Hare area.
