I booked this condo for 6÷3÷2016 for 3 nights. I had paid the condo in full. On May 27, Pelican suites emailed me stating that my reservation was canceled and there was no replacement condo available. That was 7 days before my trip! I called Pelican suites immediately, and was told that the contract had ended between the condo and Pelican suites. Pelican had also insisted that I had only paid a deposit of $ 500 instead of the total of $ 1676.
The listing is still available today with Pelican Suites. Pelican lied to me when they told me the contract between them and the condo had ended. If the contract indeed did end, the listing should have been removed.
Luckily I used paypal to pay for the condo. Paypal was great and helped me receive the full refund.
I believe what had happened was Pelican lists the condo on multiple websites. When Pelican found a party that was willing to pay more for the condo, they canceled my reservation.
I would have given this listing a zero star if I could. Don’t book with this company!
