Chicken is dry. Ordered 2 piece meal and the drumsticks were dry hardly any meat. Fries were good and so were the mashed potatoes

People here are great and always happy to serve. We usually go in large groups and can be a handful at times, but that doesn’t phase them at all. They should really stop selling red stick chicken though… That stuff is wack

It’s hard to write about a franchise location, since the food and menu and décor is pretty much all the same. But when it comes down to the little things, this Popeye’s location is «a good one». The ordering area has a neat section with a maze of poles and bars, like you’d find at an amusement park. Wheee!!! Chicken!!! The staff at the register have been nothing but courteous to us one those occasions that we find ourselves in this area and in the mood for fried chicken(as opposed to the fried chicken establishments a few blocks from where we live). Honestly, just about every time it’s been because I wanted to get food at Frank’s Shrimp House a few doors down, but my fiancé was not in the mood for that and preferred that I pick up Popeye’s for her instead. Not a problem here. I don’t know if it’s just the time of day I make these trips on the weekend, but the inside of the restaurant is frequently EMPTY. No wait in the line. No noise from the immaculate tables set up on the other half of the establishment. There are occasionally cars in the drive-thru, so I have no doubt that they’ll be going bankrupt or closing anytime soon. All in all, they do a good job here. I’ve never had a problem with one of my orders. The food is of the same caliber I expect from a Popeye’s franchise location. The staff knows what they’re doing. If you’re in the area and you want to eat Popeye’s, c’mon in. If not, see if you can find me at Frank’s down the street waiting on some jumbo fried shrimp.

Came here to pick up food for the Bears game. They were a little slow since they had only 3 people working. Ordered 20 piece chicken, large fries, 6 biscuits and red beans and rice. Chicken is ok. Large fries didn’t even come in the box like Ashland does. Don’t eat biscuits and didn’t eat any of the red beans and rice. I’ll rather drive the extra 5 – 10 minutes to Ashland instead.
