Psychic Tarot Card Palm Readings & Crystals by Cora

I’ve been to Cora twice. My friend was visiting, and since we both have an interest in Tarot Cards, Astrology, we thought it would be fun to try it out. It was our first time going to a psychic.
She charged us $ 20 for tarot reading each, and $ 10 for a palm reading each.
This part really angered me bc first we did the $ 20 tarot readings each. Then she mentioned that palm readings were $ 10 for the both of us. so we figured, hmm for another 10 bucks why not see what a palm reading is like. she mentioned that a palm reading was different than tarot in terms of what was learnt.
But after wards not only was the material EXACTLY the same that she told us, she charged us ten bucks each.
I thought she did a pretty weak job on us, considering in her small talk at the beginning she asked us, what we did currently and what we were hoping to progress into for future. It was pretty easy for her to give us some «readings» based on that from our tarots.
I told her I was a medical student.
From her tarot readings, she was able to tell me that I need to study harder, need to focus, hard work pays off, and that I will be in a career that deals with helping people. she said that there is a male i think about, and I need to focus on school instead.
She also said that someone named John cares about me.
I thought that was all very vague, especially considering john is a common name and almost everyone knows a JOhn.
The male figure-​everyone has some male figure, i assume. Whether it’s a father, a mentor, an uncle, a boyfriend, an ex, a brother, a crush, etc, a boss. So again, non specific.
She did the same with my friend. The palm readings she told us the exact same things.
We were not really happy with this.
my other friend was visiting a few months later, and really wanted to see a psychic. since she knew i went to cora a while back, she wanted to try it out. i refused to see cora again bc i thought she did such a terrible job, but she said she would cover it.
Cora didn’t recognize me at first, and later did. She was able to only tell me, that «i need to work hard, be less nervous, and forget about the boys». She wasn’t able to discuss anything about career, love, family, money. nothing specific at all.
i thought it was interesting that, last time she told my friend that, «oh you are very artistic. You have a hobby on the side, that you do for fun. But trust me, you should tap into it, and maybe make some money on the side’.
It was funny bc this time, she told me that exact same thing.
My friend also got non specific things. She asked my friend what career my friend was going into, my friend said «busines and finance». so lo and behold, she tells my friend fmo her tarots.
«you are going to be in a career that involves money and people»
«work hard»
«you seem confused about something, keep pushing»
Seriously, it was a big waste of our money. If she had said a few specific things, I would have been happy. this was not worth it at all.
Both of my friends, she knew were just visiting. and she told them that she could help them, if they spoke to her over the phone, she could pray for them and send «good vibes» just for a few dollars here and there.
I’m actually really into these kinds of things, and she ruined the whole notion for me. I do believe in tarot cards and that some people can make great predictions from them, but she clearly couldn’t.
This is located in Lincoln, in her home. Her family members are around in the other room while she does a reading. She is sort of blunt, a little tactless and not very comforting.
I think that if I were to ever try one out ever again, i would ask for a trial reading or something, just to see if they can actually predict anything.
