Pullman Sugar is a manufacturer and distributor of liquid and dry ingredients for the food and beverage industry. Pullman Sugar has unique blending and refining capabilities that allow them to produce customized products to suit each customers need.

Pullman Sugar also markets ingredients outside of the sweetener category which include flour, starch, milk powder, egg products, cheese and dairy products, fruits and concentrates.

Pullman Sugar is affiliated with other companies in the food business and leverages these relationships to get competitive prices to all companies, no matter what their size. In addition to great prices, Pullman Sugar also provides great service by supplying customers with their private fleet of trucks and trailers.

History

Established in 2007.

Pullman Sugar was started when the Boomsma family purchased an existing sugar company that had gone bankrupt. They had one customer at that time who agreed to let them melt liquid sugar for them and it has grown exponentially ever since.

In 2011, Pullman Sugar expanded and built a new state of the art facility in order to gain greater capacity as well as to give them greater blending capabilities.

Brandon has been with Pullman Sugar from the very start and has seen its continued growth over the years. Brandon hopes the growth continues so that Pullman Sugar can continue to bring jobs and economic strength to the resilient south side community of Pullman & Roseland that the company resides in.
