I choose this doctor from reviews. I wasn’t in a good situation so I decided to find a good doctor even it takes so long. So I waited about 50 days or so. an hour to my appointment they called and told that the doctor had to cancelled my appointment cause he wanna go to hospital. I told her that my situation is real bad and I don’t have my medication and don’t know what to do but she didn’t care of course and repeated her words. after almost begging she said SHE COULD SQUEEZE ME IN FOR MINUTE OR SO !!! And OF COURSE I HAVE TO PAY LIKE REGULAR SESSION
I was so angry that all my body was shaking and i had a mental attack. Do they care about you? no!!! They just care about your money. If your situation is emergency like me just don’t count on their words !!!

This «doctor» has legitimately driven me insane.
I was referred to him blindly, and I set up an intake appointment. He put me on a small dosage of anti-​depressants, which really began helping with my clinical depression. We had a follow-​up appointment in late November 2012 to see how the medication was working out.
He gave me another sample set of the medication, and explained that he would write me a prescription if I was still pleased with the effectiveness after a month.
I was scheduled to come in on January 5, 2013, but he canceled and rescheduled for January 31, 2013.
On January 31, his office called and canceled again, and rescheduled for March 8, 2013.
On March 8^th, they called me and cancelled again, and rescheduled me for April 4, 2013. At this point, I only had another 2 weeks worth of samples, so the folks at the clinic asked Dr. Gill to write a prescription for me to pick up the following week.
I picked up the prescription, and dropped it off at my neighborhood Walgreens. The pharmacy called me to inform me that the prescription couldn’t be processed right away because Dr. Gill had never informed my insurance company of the prescription.
I called the clinic and informed them of the situation. They apologized on his behalf and left countless messages asking him to contact me (he never did), and they were also kind enough to give me another month’s worth of samples to tide me over until my April appointment.
He then canceled my April appointment. At this point, I had been in contact with Walgreens and my insurance company, and they were both trying as hard as I was to get in touch with Dr. Gill to confirm the prescription so they could fill it. He was unresponsive to all of us.
Today, I called the clinic when I knew he’d be there. I told them that I’d wait on hold until the Doctor was available to speak. He declined to speak to me AND (the receptionist relayed) that he «had not seen me since November» and «advised that I find a new psychiatrist.»
Now I was REALLY pissed off. The only reason I hadn’t seen him since November was because he kept cancelling my appointments. Additionally, he denied having written me a prescription… which is laughable, because I can easily go to Walgreens and ask them to return it as proof.
If I had the means, I would hire a medical malpractice lawyer and sue Dr. Raja Gill for patient neglect and psychological trauma. I know that sounds severe, but this is a person who is supposed to have dedicated his life to serving people with mental health issues, and when I came to him for help, he acknowledged (by writing me the prescription) that I needed assistance, then actively prevented me from getting the help I need.
I have posted negative reviews on every medical site I could find, and created a new page on Unilocal specifically to prevent any users from facing the same horrible experience as me. I hope that people see this review and realize what a stain he is on the psychiatric profession.
