Do NOT buy any repair parts… I ve bought a couple parts for my store they are terrible quality. I have called to customer service several times they put me in to contact with the president of the company i spoke with him and he offered no resolution to the problem.

Came across this place, from an online forum, I was reading. I had dropped my tablet when getting out the car and the screen smashed. The ground was wet but idk if there was any water damage or not, I doubt it but maybe. The screen was so bad I couldn’t even tell what i was looking at. The screen was barely visible and wasn’t working. But sent it out after calling and telling them the problem and how important is it gets done right the first time because I live too far to deal with a «mistake.» Anyways called a couple more times because I was worried they reassured me and by the time I got it back it was like new. Never would be able to tell the screen was as bad as it was. Definitely recommend these guys.

I recently brought my iPad 2 here to have a shattered screen repaired. To be honest, I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews. My experience was far from negative.
Shortly after they repaired it, the screen was a little loose and the hibernate button didn’t work. I obviously wasn’t certain they would warranty the work. Not only did they repair it for free, they were truly apologetic about the «inconvience». Nobody can do what they do without making an error or having a part defect, but I believe it’s more important how they stand behind their product/​service.
These guys were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend the.

I was visiting from New York and doing some work at The Aviary around the corner from ReVamp. I found out that it was so close and decided to get my iPhone4 front and back screen repaired during my 30 min lunch break. The guy was very accommodating even though he was in the office alone and there were a lot of shipments arriving from UPS and USPS. Somehow he was able to handle me, the packages and repair my phone all in 25 minutes. We ended up having a really engaging conversation, which was also surprising considering how busy he was. It was actually an enjoyable experience, and I don’t think I’ve ever described service repair in those words before.
They told me they were shifting away from onsite repairs and moving into supplying other repair houses, or something like that. Hopefully, they will continue with the onsite repairs, because my experience was spectacular!

Fast and easy fix to my broken iphone screen! Would definitely recommend.

In May, I sent in my iPad whose digitizer was cracked (iPad worked fine) for repair and it was rec’d the 15^th. After 2 weeks, no word so I used their nice «live chat» widget and found that they had received a bad bunch of «media cables that sometimes are damaged when fixing an iPad and they were waiting for the new shipment.» Finally my iPad was shipped back on June 3^rd. However, the touch screen was non-​responsive. It would stop working and then start again. Sometimes it had to be rebooted. Just insane.
So, I sent it back in again.
This time, it came back more promptly… just in time for us to grab it on the way out on vacation. However, the screen response issue was not resolved with the new repair, there were marks under the glass of the digitizer, and the antenna now started to be non-​responsive. I updated to the most current OS so no one could blame the problem on that, and still no luck. It didn’t work right. And it took DAYS to do the updates since so many reboots and so much touch screen is necessary to get the damned thing set up… and besides being a parent, I work full-​time.
So it went back again. Important note… sending an iPad via USPS is a PITA, because you have to go IN to the post office or leave your iPad on the back stoop for the postman to pick up. So sometimes it takes awhile to get in to the post office before they close. *gasp* Yes, I am frustrated, but I have faith after talking to the live chat dude. But stay tuned… the faith is diminishing.
I got notified on the 19^th that it was received. Per agreement via the nice «live chat» widget, I am supposed to have their primary iPad technician (this is their top tier guy) working on it, he’s supposed to call me, and a note has been made of everything. It’s been 5 days. 3 times better be a charm or they’re staying at one star.
My theory? Someone they were training cut something (oh, maybe that media cable?) on the iPad that shouldn’t have been cut. Or wrenched it a little too hard. Or heated it up a little too much. Or something. Something that broke my iPad… and then broke it worse.
I heard from them today, when I asked for a status. I was told, «Our techs are in the process of doing your warranty repair. When they have finished or have any specific updates you will receive an email. » I am supposed to get a phone call. No new responses to my email.
I did finally get it back and it finally worked. I think the total time away from our house was 5 months. Much too long, and horrible customer service response time. However, they did fix the whole blasted thing and it works fine now.

I had the broken glass digitizer on my daughter’s iPad 2 replaced, using
. They did fix the iPad and so far, a week after getting it back, it seems to work fine. I’ll also give them credit for packaging the iPad securely for the return. However, that all the positives I can muster.
First, their website says they repair and return within 24 hours of receipt. My order took nearly three weeks to get back.
Next, they’re website is supposed to offer status updates on your order. It was updated once – as being received. Then nothing until I finally had contacted the company three times – first by chat, then by phone twice.
The person I contacted via online chat said my unit would be fixed and shipped the next day and I“d receive an email with tracking number.
Five days later, I called and was told the technician would call me back in 15 minutes. No call.
Finally, four hours later, I called again and was again told the iPad would be shipped that day. Still no status update on the website. But they finally did ship that evening. But when I finally go my email with the tracking number, I found they’d shipped via USPS Priority Mail instead of the UPS Ground *insured* option that I paid for.
Finally – and this is a minor point, but it proves they paid no attention to my order – I specified in my order that they not apply a screen protector, but I nonetheless had to peel off their screen protector.
I can forgive delays, but lousy communication and no attention to detail will keep me from ever using again or recommending ReVamp Electronics.

This place is amazing! I’ve broken my iPhone screen 3 times in recent memory and each time I have walked in and received an instant repair… all under one hour. They are super fast, friendly and professional. Their prices are lower than other places I researched… and most importantly, they save me from wasting my time at the Genius Bar. Love this place.

I’ve had two unfortunate occasions to use ReVamp. The first time was a year ago when the screen on my 1^st gen iPad completely stopped working. I wasn’t even sure if it was worth fixing but Anand helped me with the decision by showing that the cost of the repair was less than the current value of a used device on the auction sites. Even if I preferred to get a new one, it made more sense to fix the old one and sell it to subsidise the cost. They were able to replace the screen in a couple of hours. I ended up keeping it and it has worked great since.
The second occasion was when I dropped my iPhone 4s. The touch screen was working even though the glass had broken. I walked in to Revamp and the took care of it within 30 minutes while I grabbed lunch.

I am over the moon from the support I got at ReVamp. I chatted with someone online on Friday and got the details for repair. Walked in yesterday morning (Tuesday) and dropped off my iPad 2 in a terrible state and picked it up 6 hours later looking good as new. I’d definitely go back again if I find myself with a similar dilemma AND will recommend to family and friends.

Fixing the iPhone screen took about an hour. Luckily, the area was pleasant to walk around so I did that. I came back an hour later and it was finished. Looks like it did before I cracked it, so that’s pretty good! Only complaint is that staff weren’t as friendly as I wanted them to be? Can’t complain though at all — phone looks great and only cost $ 55 with the Unilocal deal

Ran over my 4s. Took longer to find parking than to get a new one. (FYI paid lot 3 blocks south)

My three year old threw his Galaxy, breaking the glass touch screen. I found ReVamp on the Internet. The reviews looked favorable. I shipped to them said Galaxy. They replaced the broken touchscreen and returned as promised. Now it’s as good as new. And my three year old is not only happy, but he promises not to throw it again.

This place is great! Dropped off my iPad 2 at 1:00 today to have the glass replaced that I cracked. They called at 3:30 and it was ready!!! $ 106.46 out the door & I didn’t have to go a day without my iPad :)

Great service, great price. I shattered my iphone screen, dropped it off at revamp, picked up a brand new phone a few hours later. Very pleased. It was a much easier, more convenient process than I expected.

I sadly have made it a habit to drop my iphone and crack the screen on an annual basis. I just find my iphone so much sleeker without the case, and maybe that is where the problem begins. Luckily, every time I’m in Chicago, the guys at Revamp have helped repair my screen. I think I’d be broke if I had to keep going back to the apple store and dishing out $ 200 for a refurb.
The location is pretty easy to get to as well, right off the morgan-​lake train stop. I hope the third crack is the charm and I never have to go back for another repair…

I walked into Revamp Electronics from the street without an appointment to try and get my iphone screen replaced. I was surprised to hear they could fix it while I waited. I grabbed lunch and came back to the store and it was done! These guys really came through in a big time of need. They seemed very knowledgeable as well.

I dropped the corner of my phone on my iPad and shattered my screen. These guys fixed my tablet same day, as they have tons of parts in stock. Prices are competitive too.
