Everything ive tried here is delicious! The Italian beef, cajan mac, pulled pork, oven roasted potatoes is my favorite. Sharon and her staff are always very professional and outstanding every delivery ive had! Definitely worth a call if you have an event and need a great selection of tasty food.

Sharon and her team catered my husband’s 40^th birthday party at our home, and we couldn’t have asked for better food or better service. The food was impressive and our guests raved about the meal several times throughout the evening. The servers and food runner where professional, courteous, and incredibly skilled. We have a ton of left-​overs, so I’m also grateful that I’ll be able to relive this meal several times over the next few days. I really can’t thank them enough for helping me pull off a wonderful dinner party.

We had Sharon cater or welcome BBQ/​rehearsal dinner and heard rave reviews about the food all night — some guests went back for second and third helpings! We had her staff deliver everything and they were promptly on time, despite horrible Friday afternoon/​holiday weekend traffic. Sharon did not have me sign a contract prior to the delivery, which had me a little nervous but it was all wonderful!

Amazing!!! That’s all I can say! I did tell my guest that I was having catered food, but didn’t tell them I was entering the gates if heaven! They loved the food!!! I ordered for 30, and I was able to feed an arm :) Sharon, you are an angle! The food was so delicious, Brian was patient with us so we can find room for all the the stuff! Thank you so so so so much! I wish there were more stars! I will defiantly help you grow! If your chicken, beef, mostaccioli, and salads were this yummy, I can imagine what else you have in store for us! Thank you !! Xoxoxo

We have used S&S on many occasions for all parties thrown at our home. Both the food and staff are fantastic and the prices are extremely reasonable.
Sharon is wonderful to work with and is extremely helpful when selecting food options for the menu. She literally can do anything you suggest. (Think 80’s theme hostess cake tower of twinkies, ding dong, etc).
I will continue to be a loyal patron and recommend Sharon and her staff to anyone looking to throw a party in the Chicago area. They make throwing a party very UNSTRESSFUL

I have used Sharon’s services many times in the past and only came across her Unilocal page when looking for her again for another event happening soon. I will continue to use her for events as small as 10 ppl. She and her staff never fail to come thru in a big way.

Good caterers are very hard to come by. S & S Catering happens to be one of the good ones. My family has used this caterer several times over the past few years, and plan on using them again this year.
In my opinion, the food is the most important part of a party, followed by the music, decorations, and um, of course having guests actually show up.
Sharon at S & S is very accommodating, and friendly. She works with you to make sure all the necessary bases are covered. You can choose the have the food just delivered and setup, or you can have a server stay the length of the party. Our last party was a buffet style, and we paid to have the server stay and serve food at the buffet. She cleaned up the mess and cut and helped serve the cake as well. If you choose a sit down dinner, you can also pay extra to have more than one server serve the food. I highly recommend choosing this option, as you don’t have to think about that aspect of the party. I think we paid an extra $ 75 for the buffet server (might be more now), and it was the best decision I made. Don’t forget to add in the server’s tip to your budget.
The selection of food has been typical but tasty. I saw their latest menu, and they now have tapas. I’m thinking of having all tapas at my next party.
If you’re looking for a caterer with good food, and very reasonable prices, you’ve found them. I know I sound like a commercial, but the service has been really good for us in the past.
