Sabre began as a mechanical engineering service company. We have evolved into a group of engineers and scientists who are also patent agents. Sabre provides honest and reliable patent services to small businesses and independent inventors with unique products.

David B.

Business Owner

David Bremer is a degreed mechanical engineer as well as a registered patent agent. After 10 years as a staff engineer with various corporations, he moved to Chicago in 1993 and started Sabre as a engineering consulting firm. Over the years he worked more and more with inventors and start-​ups who were introducing new products and technology. He passed the Patent Bar exam in 2002 to become a registered Patent Agent. He currently has a docket of over 50 issued patent and pending applications filed on behalf of his clientele. Mr. Bremer is also an adjunct professor at John Marshall Law School where he teaches law students how to draft patent applications. He is proud of his reputation as a provider of honest information on the patent process.
