Specialties
Sacred Art is an independent, locally-owned shop located in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood. We represent 105 artists with a focus on Chicago-based artists and Chicago-influenced art. We are always seeking out unique perspectives and beautiful execution in a wide range of media.
Our goal is two-fold: to support independent artists in the Chicago area and beyond, and to provide you with an inviting environment in which to browse and buy original artwork.
We represent over 100 independent artists and our inventory is always changing — stop in and see what’s new!
History
Established in 2006.
Sacred Art was founded in 2006 as an alternative to the traditional gallery. We have a fun, casual atmosphere where we showcase unique artwork created by independent makers. Sacred Art outgrew its original location in Roscoe Village and moved to its current Lincoln Square storefront in 2009.
Today, we are building on Sacred Art’s strong foundation; the focus for the future is on adding new local artists as well as expanding our view of art to incorporate music, writing and performing art into our events.
